J Resources is an Indonesian owned, intermediate gold producer, as measured by global output. We produce ~200,000oz per annum, derived mainly from our operating Indonesian assets. We operate, mine and understand low grade-gold deposits and heap leach systems.

As a result of the rapid expansion, we are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following roles:
1. Superintendent – Project Quantity Survey
(Permanent - Jakarta HO based)
Responsibilities:
• To manage the preparation of various Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates.
• To attend tender procedure and prepare tender report and support commercial manager to support the tender process.
• To organize the preparation and monitoring of the execution of contract and contractual correspondences as well as contractor’s valuation.
• To ensure the cost evaluation/projection preparation to meet the requirements of works in progress and to review monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims from contractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment of costs of works and expected final cost.
• To direct the regulation and review the accuracy and relevancy of subcontractors’ applications for payment, variation submission and pursuit of claims and advise requirement of contract and to review the variation orders report.
• To provide assistance to Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager on contractual issues, in preparing and approving contractor’s final accounts and finalize the account of project
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree holder in civil / mechanical, electrical engineering, construction or related disciplines.
• Have extensive experience at performing quantity survey in construction, road or civil projects (8-10 years).
• Have experience in leading a surveyor team (working at civil contractor is preferred).
• Advance skills on Civil/Construction cost planning, cost estimating and analysis.
• Advance knowledge of Construction quantity surveying and construction operations.
2. Specialist – Project Document Controller
(Permanent - Jakarta HO based)
Responsibilities:
• To coordinate all activities related to the Document Control including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
• To input document data by using standard registers to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date.
• To generate various document control reports as required, to make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and vendor/suppliers as applicable.
• To maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution accordingly.
• To maintain the documents and drawings in the document control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability, the files and control logs as required by the project.
• To review and coordination of vendor engineering and document registers.
• To be responsible for overall coordination of controlled handover documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree holder in civil / mechanical, electrical engineering, construction or related disciplines.
• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road or civil projects (8-10 years).
• Familiarity with document control / management systems.
• Proficient in MS Words Applications is a must and knowledge in using document control software is advantageous.
• Experience in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive materials and deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
3. Sr. Engineer – Project Civil
(Permanent - Jakarta HO based)
Responsibilities:
• To coordinate all temporary and permanent works design and design consultant activities in order to ensure compliance with relevant engineering requirements along with technical and commercial contractual obligations.
• To coordinate the quality of the works including procurement of material (permanent and temporary works) in a timely manner in order to ensure construction continues as scheduled.
• To monitor the execution civil engineering activities and the work of subordinates on design in order to ensure construction works are carried out as per program within safety and quality guidelines.
• To review and ensure that project designs, schedules, cost, results and recommended improvements are effectively implemented to end-users with the support of project management.
• To coordinate with external community (client and technical representatives) and local authorities in order to ensure approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree holder in civil / structural engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road or civil projects (8-10 years).
• Have experience in QA/QC training.
• Advanced skills on Civil/Construction cost planning, cost estimating and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Civil/Construction software/hardware skills.
• Intermediate skills on project management software.
4. Sr. Engineer – Project QA / QC
(Permanent - Jakarta HO based)
Responsibilities:
• To review all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
• To review all records are completed and compiled for submission to client with regards to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
• To review quality of products/supplies/services by sub-contractors meets the specified requirement at source with regard to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
• To coordinate the implementation of the project quality plan in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
• To coordinate the implementation of the audit programs in order to meet the internal policies and certification to international standards.
• To coordinate the continuous improvement process in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree holder in civil / structural engineering, or related disciplines
• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road or civil projects (8-10 years).
• Have experience in QA/QC training
• Experience in managing ISO 9000 in the construction industry.
• Intermediate skills on Civil/Construction cost planning, cost estimating and analysis
• Extensive skill in performing QA/QC system
5. Superintendent – Project Mechanical & Piping
(Permanent - Jakarta HO based)
Responsibilities:
• To coordinate all Mechanical and Piping design and design consultancy activities in order to ensure compliance with relevant engineering requirements along with technical and commercial contractual obligations.
• To coordinate the review of quality of the works including procurement of Mechanical & Piping material in a timely manner in order to ensure construction continues as scheduled.
• To supervise Mechanical & Piping engineering activities and the work of subordinates on design in order to ensure Mechanical & Piping installation are carried out as per program within safety and quality guidelines.
• To ensure using all the Mechanical & Piping drawing is the latest version in order to ensure Mechanical & Piping installation are carried out as per program and in timely manner.
• To monitor and control project designs, schedules, cost, results and recommended improvements effectively to end-users in order to allow them to be successfully implemented in the field with the support of project management.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree holder in civil / structural engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road or civil projects (8-10 years).
• Have extensive experience in Mechanical & Piping installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors.
• Have QA/QC training and experience
• In depth understanding of construction methodology covering building, Mechanical & Piping.
6. Drafter – Civil & Structure
(Contract – Site based)
Responsibilities:
• To prepare drawings in the format and system prescribed for the project in order to meet project requirements and company’s quality standards.
• To prepare accurate and well- presented drawings in order to meet the standards and targets as specified in the Project Plan.
• To prepare drawings in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet project deadlines and schedules.
• To ensure engineering documents and documentation are being filed correctly, formatted and traceable (hardcopy and softcopy) in order to ensure that only the latest versions or revisions of the document is being worked on.
• To provide administrative support in drawing management in order to meet project objectives.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.
Requirements:
• Diploma Degree holder in civil, architect, mechanical construction or related discipline
• 3-5 year/s relevant experience in project engineering and construction
• Have extensive on-site experience performing civil and mechanical construction projects
• Experiences in design consultant and contractor will be advantage
• Having skill in Auto Cad 3D and Terra Model.
• Experience within a contractor, operator or consultancy on the development of Gold Mine.
