We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

EOI - MANAGER TECHNICAL SERVICES - 926437

(SANGATTA)

Some of your duties will include:

• Plan, control, organize and coordinate all tasks related to the engineering and environmental activities, such as mine planning, geology, survey, mine rehabilitation activities, and reporting.

• Establish and maintain a record of sound safety and environmental performance and management practice at all levels of operation as per Thiess standard.

• Manage and Coach all subordinates to get maximum performance preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly mine planning and reports.

• Ensure all mine plans are completed in accordance with the mining contract terms and conditions.

• Monitor mining operation performance and to foster efficiencies through competent Engineering services skills and disciplines.

• Audit the project engineering departments to ensure quality systems, procedures and resources are effectively implemented.

• Manage the collation of the site Project Monthly Report templates and targets and review daily, weekly and monthly production and cost information in order to seek business improvement initiatives.

• Maintain, monitor and control production reporting system and provide support to site to ensure the data is updated regularly.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduated from Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering/ Geology with Minimum of 8 years previous experience in Engineering / Mining at a Supervisory level or 4 years at Managerial level; Has experience in Client relations, Subcontract management, Project management, and previous experience in similar role;

• Comprehensive knowledge in mining concept and applications; Strong capability / exposure to mine planning and design software (MineScape, XPAC, Talpac, and other relevant software); Financial reporting & concepts; Has knowledge of and is familiar with mincom, drilling and blasting activities, cost control systems, explosive usage and procedures, AMI Codes Standards and Reporting, and RTKPL procedures; OHS&E requirements Legislative and statutory requirements; Technical expertise; Certified in POM from Mine and Energy Department;

• Proficient in written and spoken Indonesian and English language; Computer literacy;

• Strong leadership and motivational skills; good analytical skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to facilitate the accurate transfer of information to all areas of the company; Strong production focus and successful track record, proven to achieve targets and planning skills are pre-requisite; a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.

SENIOR ENGINEER MINING - 925934

(MELAK)

Some of your duties will include:

• Report to Engineering Superintendent;

• Provide technical design and support for mining engineering activities to maximize productivities in the most cost effective and efficient manner;

• Ensuring a safe professional environment is maintained;

• Provide daily advice to production personnel on the required direction of mining to achieve scheduled sequences and targets;

• Coordination with Senior Mining Supervisor to ensure OB quality;

• Coordination with Drill and Blast Engineer and Supervisor to manage blasting sequence;

• Manage cost of drilling and blasting;

• Coordination with client and Senior Mining Supervisor to ensure mine sequence, dump sequence following pit design and productivity achievement;

• Weekly coordination with client and Senior Mining Supervisor regarding equipment allocation, production targets, mine sequence, etc.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum of Bachelor degree of Mine Engineering;

• Minimum of 4 years in site experience;

• Proficient in mining principles, mine design concepts & operations in both coal, mine operation regulatory requirements; Proven skills in Mine Scheduling tools utilizing software such as Minescape and Xpac will be an advantage

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, good analytical and focus on detail; Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; Computer literate.

Senior Accountant Finance – 926438

(MSJ)

 Some of your duties will include:

• Manage the collection and reporting of all costs, invoicing and collection of debts in accordance Thiess Values and TMS in a proactive and efficient manner;

• Analyses, calculates and allocates inter-departmental charges for various expenditures, performs comprehensive financial activity studies and assures compliance with reporting requirements;

• Supervise activity & control costs in/out, Plant Administration, Payroll and Accounting: responsible for the Rate Strategist and Accounting functions include Billing and Collections; Financial Statements; Ledger Postings (GL); Tax; Vendor Payments; and Interfacing with Outsourcers;

• The Senior Accountant will ensure authentic, accurate, and timely input/output of data into the general ledger as well as ensure efficient and effective coding and cost classification systems for the presentation of financial reports;

• Responsible for tracking expenses in accordance with rates and regulations, preparing and filing financial reports with regulators, and supporting rate cases;

• Take & give solution of the matter in Account department;

• Give solution of the matter in JDE System Account section;

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related discipline;

• Have been working for a major organisation, preferably in the mining, manufacturing or related industry with 10 years working experience and has minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar senior role as Senior Supervisor Accountant Finance;

• Have strong financial and management accounting;

• Understanding of the business, sets a growth/profit strategy outside the normal paradigm to achieve significant business/project results;

• A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement;

• Avoid situation resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business;

• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Thiess policy;

• Good in written and spoken English language skills; Proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership skill and strong Mentoring skills; have good interpersonal and open communication; have the confidence to deal with people at all levels of the organization; proactive; team player; good analytical skills; and negotiation skills.

SENIOR SPECIALIST LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT - 926347

(Jakarta Head Office)

Some of your duties will include:

• To coordinate Learning and Development business process and initiatives in particular area/site projects in bringing capable and motivating workforce within HR applicable guidelines of maintaining consistency;

• To contribute to the success of PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia by effectively monitoring, evaluating and developing and implementing plans to meet staff learning and development needs within TCI

• Organize and monitor Career Path & Development Planning for Staff; initiate specific employee development activities in particular areas; socialization to area/ sites for Human Resources and Learning Development policies, procedure, and initiative in order to align all supervisory level with corporate policies, procedure and initiatives

• Coordinate Technical Staff Development; Delivery of staff development training/ facilitation material, e.g Leadership & Supervisory Development Program /course or Management Leadership and Cross Culture Training or  English/ Bahasa course as required

• Review, develop and deliver the advancement of theoretical & practical soft skills, leadership and ESL training courses of LH up to Superintendent

• Coordinate Undergraduate & Graduate Program Management in selecting, implementing, developing, and motivating high quality Undergraduate/ Graduate

• Organize Staff Education Assistance including External Study as a part of Employee Development Program; Searching course provider, enrolment of participants, arranging and monitoring the implementation of the distance study;

• Coordinate Site Work Experience in various sites/ departments within TCI

• Coordination of the sending of TCI employees for secondment program by liaison with several stakeholder such as Australian BU, TCI Formalities, and Training Centre

• Language Training & Translation Support — Both Indonesian and ESL

• Develop and prepare Learning and development material according to company's needs and requirements. This include module, handouts and presentation material; Discuss the session's objectives with each facilitator and work with each facilitator thru the materials and make revision as required

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduate from Tertiary qualifications in HR or Management

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a training / or HR Generalist role with 3 years' leadership/supervision experience in similar role. Experience on a mining or construction site will be an advantage

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal), including good skills in English Facilitation skills

• Competency Based Training System principles and concepts

• Learning and people development management
