PT. Macmahon Indonesia is a multinational mining contractor company and has a combined mining experience of 50 years including projects throughout Indonesia.

We’re seeking motivated, high qualified candidates to join our team with FIFO in Sumbawa on a 4:2 roster.

Engineer – DW/BI

This position is part of Fleet Management Systems & Data Analyst section in Mine Technical Services Department, which play a challenging role in the development and maintenance of existing reporting systems and also conduct exploration and development using new Datawarehouse/Business Intelligence technologies.

Qualifications :

• Preferably 1 - 2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome) with Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information System. Strong understanding and grasp of data will be advantageous. Previous experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suites (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) would be a plus.

• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.).

• Programming skills (Python, .NET, Java, HTML/Javascript or any other programming language).

• Ability to translate technical subject matter to a non-technical audience

• Ability to engage and present to business stakeholders to gain an understanding of their business objective and requirements.

• Exposure to technical development with any modern DW/BI technologies would be advantageous.

• Ability to self-teach new DW/BI technologies and be resourceful in finding appropriate documentation and community support.

• Have good analytical & problem solving skills.

• Planning & organisational skills to be able to complete duties on time whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative whilst also being a self-motivated, proactive team player.

• Have good communication skills in English & Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities :

• Development, modification, implementation and/or maintenance of existing reporting systems.

• Work closely with Business Stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis.

• Create visualizations and reports for requested project.

• Create and/or update Requirement, Process, Design and Technical Documentation.
