Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1.303 km2.

The resource based on 31 December 2018 includes 8.1 Moz of Gold and 69 Moz of Silver, with economic ore reserves of 4.5Moz gold and 34Moz silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 5.9Mtpa ore to produce in excess of 350,000 oz of Gold and 2-3 Moz of Silver per annum.

PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,600 employees and contractors which more than 70 % have been recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra.

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) is the majority shareholder of PT Agincourt Resources with a total 95% of the shareholding. The shareholders of PTDTN are PT United Tractors Tbk 60% and PT Pamapersada Nusantara 40%. These companies are part of the PT Astra International Tbk group. The 5% share ownership is owned by the Government of South Tapanuli Regency and North Sumatra Province (local governments). 

To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

SENIOR SUPERVISOR IR/ER & EXPAT FORMALITIES (HR 2001007)

 

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Human Resources Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Superintendent – Recruitment, IR/ER & Expat Formalities

The Role of the Senior Supervisor IR/ER & Expat Formalities

• Executor for the duties associated with Industrial Relations, Employee Relations & Formalities.

• Responsible and ensure all policies and labour regulations is socialized to all employees and ensure all employees understand and carryout the policy according to the procedures in the policy.

• Establish and maintain a good relationship with employees, Labor Union and External parties (Manpower Department, Immigration etc.)

• To make sure all permits or documents requirements related with Manpower and expatriate comply with the prevailing regulation.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor degree in Law. Preferably Master Degree in Law.

2. Experience in HR IR/ER area Min. 5 years

3. Certify professional in Industrial Relation from BNSP

4. Has good understanding of the Labor laws

5. Familiar with expatriate formalities duties

6. Good Knowledge of Human Behavior, Performance and Internal Consulting.

7. Good verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skill.

8. Has good leadership, interpersonal skill and teamwork minded.

9. Fluently Speaking and writing in English

10. High computer literate, MS Windows and HRIS system.

11. Good negotiation skill with employee and related government.

CONTRACT & PROCUREMENT SUPERINTENDENT - PROJECT

(PD 2001002)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Project Development Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Project Manager

The Role of the Contract & Procurement Superintendent - Project is to

• Conduct contract development, contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.

• Prequalification of suppliers, tender document preparation,

• Commercial evaluation of tenders & preparation of evaluation summaries, 

• Tender clarifications,

• Recommendations for award, awarding and conforming of contracts,

• Administration of contract through to practical completion and closeout.

• Preparation of Procurement Plan and scoping, sourcing, and ordering project related equipment and materials.

• Ensure a consistent, integrated and reliable approach is applied to contacts and procurement processes.

• Delivering accurate and insightful reporting.

• Liaison with suppliers of goods and equipment and construction contractors in relation to projects.

• Setting up systems to record all interactions, variations, reporting, cost control, contract assembly and administration.

• Contribute to scopes of work, tender packages, tender evaluations and project management tools to ensure that the Company is financial and legally protected while achieving optimal value on project expenditure.

• Contribute to project reporting inclusive of contractor progress, delays and opportunities, scope changes and all potential contract variations.

• This role will be all Contracts and Procurement related to Martabe Projects which can vary greatly in scope of work, criticality, value and risk profile. All of these contracts no matter the size, complexity and value contribute to the successful operation of the Martabe Gold Mine.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Degree in business, law, engineering or equivalent.

2. 12 years or more Contracts Administration experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry

3. Conduct contract development, contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.

4. Sound understanding of relevant Indonesian business, legal system, company law, contract law, immigration, manpower, tax, importation, mines and energy regulations.

5. Contract writing, including technical capabilities, Scope of Work (SOW) and commercial terms & condition

6. Strong Contract Management skills. Able to competently manage the contractor and ensure compliance to contract terms and conditions.

PROJECT MATERIALS CONTROLLER

(PD 2001003)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Project Development Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Project Manager

The Role of The Projects Material Controller is responsible for projects related material management at Site. He/she collects all the documents and certification covering the arrival of materials at site and provides for recording of their movements. He/she supplies the Project Manager and Procurement Manager with reports and information to assist the coordination of construction projects.

• To arrange Project warehouse logistics according to the instructions of the Project Manager;

• To manage information relevant to arrival of materials at site and their availability at the Project warehouse;

• To coordinate the availability of shipping documentation and feed the Project Logistics and Expediting data base with proper information;

• Establish storage locations; maintains site storage in accordance with the site materials management procedures.

• To manage the receiving, check, storage and preservation of materials delivered at Site;

• To manage the receiving, check, recording and traceability of material certificates;

• To manage the handover and control of project materials to subcontractors;

• To supervise and direct  subcontractor material control compliance with site material management procedures;

• To monitor, report on and manage disposal of surplus or hazardous materials and equipment

• Initiate procedures concerning insurance claims for damage to materials during transport to Site or during erection;

• To initiate claims against vendors for missing materials and/or non-conformity with the relevant purchase order and follow up with the relevant resolution.

• Preparation and issuing of materials receiving, status and location reporting as required by the Project.

• Setting up systems to record all project interactions, reporting, cost control, contract assembly and administration.

• Maintain all required project records for audit purposes.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Degree in engineering, management or equivalent.

2. 5 years or more Materials Controlling / Site Logistics experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry construction projects.

3. Experienced in the control and management of materials from receipt at warehouse through to distribution to required site location;

4. Good working knowledge of material systems, process controls, warehousing and logistics within the mining / construction industry;

5. Good knowledge of legislative requirements for hazardous materials management;

6. Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly

7. Ability to identify mining and construction materials and equipment

8. Experience in the handling, storing and preservation of mining and construction project materials and equipment

9. Excellent organizational and planning skills

10. Ability to maintain and develop Project reports as required.

11. Maintain all required project records for audit purposes.

12. Proficient in the use of Pronto ERP Software

13. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software

14. Excellent communication skills – Bahasa and English

RECRUITER (HR 2001006)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Human Resources Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Superintendent – Recruitment, IR/ER & Expat Formalities

The Role of the Recruiter  is to manage the recruitment process of all RTE (Request to Employ) from All departments which must be in line  with SOP of Recruitment and Selection, Manning Budget and responsible to managing the implementation of the Internship Program in according with the Policy.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. University Degree in Psychology. Preferably Master degree of Psychology.

2. Has minimum 3 years working experience in HR – Recruitment and Selection process, preferably in Mining Company.

3. Certify professional in Recruitment and Selection from BNSP

4. Familiar with Indonesian labor law and union.

5. Familiar with recruitment & assessment tools.

6. Experience in interview technique, psychological tools, scoring and interpretation.

7. Confidence and strong sales skills

SUPERINTENDENT-ENVIRONMENT SITE SUPPORT

(ENV 2001005)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Environment Department, working on schedule 4 Weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Manager Environment

The Role of the Environmental Superintendent will demonstrate leadership within the Environment Department and work closely with other Site Management to ensure that Leading Practice environmental strategies are demonstrated at Martabe.  The role of the Environment Site Support Superintendent is to oversee all environmental data gathering and reporting as related to government, investor, and other stakeholder requirements.  In addition, the Environmental Superintendent will provide advice to the environmental manager on all compliance-related aspects of achieving best environmental practices for PTAR.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor degree of Chemist, Fishery, Forestry, Environmental and relevance

2. Very good skills spoken and written English

3. A minimum of 8 years in an environmental operations role in the mining or other relevant industry.

4. Good knowledge in AMDAL and environmental permit process and compliance.

5. Knowledge of relevant environmental standard operating procedures for open pit mining and cyanide processing

6. Through knowledge of the Indonesian Environmental and Mine Regulations

7. Previous experience with open pit mine rehabilitation and nursery development.

8. Previous experience with the development of a Geographic Information System (GIS)

9. Experience in Hazardous Waste Management requirement and chemical incident mitigation

10. Demonstrated success in capabilities of PROPER achievement management

11. Good leadership and influential team building skills

12. Good communication skills within internal and external parties including Government and NGO

13. Working knowledge of MS Office software

14. Good Indonesia and English report writing skills

15. Sound awareness of contemporary environmental issues

16. Knowledge of environmental auditing requirements
