PT SWARNA BHUMI ENERGI is a national company providing consultant services and manpower for oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for some professional and experienced candidates to fill the position as below:

LEAD SEISMIC QC

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the compliance of the contract signed between the seismic contractor and Company.

2. Collaborate during test parameter definition. QC results. Assure data and report delivery within the expected quality and timing.

3. Monitor survey methods to ensure that line positioning is within required accuracies and in agreement with programmed pre-plot locations.

4. Monitor line clearance work to ensure that all crew personnel have safe access to the seismic lines and that acceptable clearance lead is maintained.

5. Ensure that source arrays are accurately positioned and that (if applicable) shot holes are loaded and tamped to the required depth.

6. Maintain a log of explosives consumption and perform periodic stock checks.

7. Ensure that all field data acquisition parameters are strictly adhered to the project plan and contract.

8. Review daily and periodic tests and ensure that each unit is operating within contractual standards.

9. Verify the integrity of the seismic/positioning data merge.

Requirements:

• 15-20 years’ experience in Onshore geophysical operations, with at least 8 years in a 2D/3D Seismic operations QC supervisory capacity in both seismic data quality and operation management.

• Strong experience in with explosive seismic sources.

• Proven record of experience in areas with dense vegetation in tropical climate.

• Strong knowledge of land seismic data processing is required.

• Demonstrable strong HSE background.

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training is desirable.

• Experience in Project area is a plus.

• Fluent spoken and written English and Bahasa.

SENIOR NATIONAL QC

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible to assist the seismic Lead QC in field supervising the seismic Contractor´s operations: 

1. Ensuring the compliance of the contract signed between the Seismic Contractor and Company.

2. Supervising that receiver laying out and surveying operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to:

a) Proper line clearance

b) Logistics of personnel and equipment

c) Adequate laying out and bunching receivers’ procedures

d) Adequate offsets and skips definition

e) Proper equipment maintenance

3. Monitor daily activity of the laying out/pick up of seismic equipment in the field. Advising on potential improvement areas or training needed.

4. Conducting periodical and systematical equipment inspections. Reviewing and cross check Contractor´s inspections and audits. Reviewing corrective actions and defect repair, including, but not limited to:

a) Geophones

b) Nodes

c) Strings

d) Recording equipment

5. Participating in surveying and laying out crews’ induction to assure that Company requirements regarding offsets, receivers and sources location and numbering are well understood.

Requirements:

Appropriate technical qualifications and experience in laying out and surveying supervision are required, including but not limited to:

• BSc in Geophysics, Geological Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

• At least 8-10 years of experience as a recording supervisor in similar environment conditions of seismic projects in the past.

• Sound knowledge of topography, geodesy, drilling and field processing.

TECHNICAL AUDITOR

The audit will be performed to verify the seismic contractor’s energy source and recording equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and Company’s requirements stated in the Contract. The engineer shall bring all necessary testing equipment to complete the audit. The technical audit is envisaged to be a stand-alone item and the engineer is not expected to form part of a QC team.

The audit shall include, but not be limited to:

1. Recording instrument tests – distortion, dynamic range, system timing, etc.

2. Energy Source – start time, synchronization, and the standard recommended procedures.

3. Sensors – Distortion, natural frequency, leakage, etc.

4. Telemetry Cables – leakage, dynamic resistance, transmission loss, etc.

5. Nodal system (if applicable).

6. Available certificates and licenses for hardware and software.

7. Other Equipment – as required (GPS, Up-hole tools, near surface acquisition equipment, PPV meter…).

The technical auditor will assess the competence of the recording crew and address recommendations and instruction where necessary on the latest instrument quality control techniques and test procedures. At the end of the field visit the technical auditor will discuss the results with Contractor and Company representatives and generate a summary report for the Company, to be followed by a full audit report.

Requirements:

Appropriate technical qualifications and experience of performing technical audits on seismic equipment is required. Bidders will submit a detailed CV for each auditor that is offered to perform the services:

• At least 8-10 years of experience as technical auditor for land geophysical operations.

• Experience with nodal equipment and explosive source projects.

• BSc in geophysics, electronic engineering degree, computer science, or equivalent qualification.

SURVEYING AUDITOR / SUPERVISOR

Main Responsibilities:

1. Audit of surveying equipment in compliance with the Contract and valid methodological verification certificates for all equipment

2. Audit survey data processing/analysis software and hardware, transport, and communication mean.

3. Assessment of accuracy for determination of geodetic control points

4. Audit of personnel competence and experience requirements set out in the Contract.

5. Control the establishment of the surveying control network/stations, its GPS observations and processing, and the initial stages of the seismic line surveying. Inspection of control points.

6. Ensure project coordinate system is correctly defined and set out by Contractor.

7. Analyze vintage survey data and derive a relationship with current surveyed coordinates. If required identify and apply appropriate datum shift parameter adjustments to old data sets to bring them in line with the current datum, spheroid, and projection for the prospect.

8. Submit a comprehensive and fully documented independent report on completion of the audit. The report should document the survey control network, mention quality control procedures, techniques used to improve data quality or production rates and problems encountered which prevented any of the survey’s objectives from being realized; and should be supported by photographs. Recommendations must be included.

 Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years of experience as Surveying technical auditor/supervision for land geophysical operations.

• The survey auditor will make use of his surveying software (Trimble Navigation, GPSeismic or similar).

• BSc in Geophysics, Electronic Engineering degree, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.

SENIOR DRILLING SUPERVISOR

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible to supervise the seismic contractor´s drilling & preloading operations, Charge vs Depth Verification, Reporting and will have the following main responsibilities: 

1. Ensure the compliance of the contract signed between the seismic Contractor and Company.

2. Supervise that shot hole drilling and loading operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, including but not limited to:

o Safe and stable rig setup

o Logistics of personnel and equipment

o Correct equipment transportation

o Adequate procedures while drilling.

o Proper charge preparation/priming (to avoid misfires)

o Adequate loading procedures

o Proper equipment maintenance

o Advise on drilling crew competency and potential improvement areas or training needed

3. Control and validate, by physical inspection, the compliance with the requirements for adequate source depth and charge, correct tamping of the load and safety distances.

4. Assist and observe shot hole detonation activities. Supervise and cross check the correct report of blowouts and UH anomalies. Help the lead QC the relevant departments (mainly recording), to statistically analyze trends, correlations with lithology and causes. Suggest improvement actions for quality and productivity based on analysis of drilling and loading activities.

Requirements:

Appropriate technical qualifications and sound experience in acting as drilling supervisor on land seismic crews is required:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar position. (Experience as client representative / party manager in similar operations will be eventually considered) 

• Sound knowledge of seismic operations.

• Extensive and hands on experience with:

o Drilling rigs and ancillary equipment

o Surface geology / lithology identification

o Seismic Explosives technical specifications, handling, and storage procedures

RECORDING SUPERVISOR

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the compliance of the contract signed between the seismic Contractor and Company.

2. Monitor the implementation of HSE aspects across the various recording phases (equipment testing / logistics / layout / pickup / shooting / trouble shooting / recording)

3. Inspection and acceptance of instrument / station units / cables / sensors to be utilized in the recording process – daily, monthly and prior to area change

4. Monitor seismic data recording to comply with the standards specified in the contract (noise control, geometry, auxiliary channels, S/N ratio, signal frequency content among others). If not compliant, corrective actions to be taken

5. Ensure Shot Point Blasting is performed in full HSE and quality compliance (PPEs, safety distances, obstruction clearance, correct UH geophone planting and good radio communication between Blaster and Recorder)

6. Report field conditions changes to Lead QC / Senior National QC / Assistant SNQC preventing normal parameters acquisition and Implement approved modifications

7. Report recording daily activities to Lead QC / Senior National QC / Assistant SNQC with possible inputs for improvement

8. Ensure proper storage and data transfer between field Recorder and base camp QC & Processing office

9. Advise Company of any infractions of safety standards and assist (if required) in investigation of any accident or near-miss.

10. Participate in periodic safety meetings with Seismic Contractor’s personnel.

11. Ensure that all working practices are according to the environmental plan defined for this survey

12. Assist the Lead QC in the preparation of a comprehensive and fully documented independent report on Seismic Contractor’s performance on completion of project. (Final Report).

 Requirements:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar position

• Sound knowledge of land portable seismic operations

• Extensive experience of Sumatra environment and operation

• Extensive experience of data recording systems (Sercel SN428, SN508 or equivalent recording systems)

• Extensive experience of sensor testing equipment (Megger, LT, SMT etc…)

LEAD HSE SUPERVISOR

Main Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Company Field HSE Supervisor.

2. Coordinate HSE related matters within Company and Contractor Seismic personnel.

3. Report to Project HSE Coordinator if any HSE matter immediately.

4. Report Project Incidents immediately to Project HSE Coordinator and Field Seismic QC Leader.

5. Ensure all personnel follow COVID-19 protocol. Identify any violation or misleading of the procedures.

6. Present summary of Daily HSE activities in the operation morning meeting, address key HSE issues such as; incident, highlight item from observation cards, high risk “outstanding finding/s”, urgent recommendation and potential upcoming HSE risks.

7. Coordinate with HSE Analyst, Environmental Coordinator, onsite Medical Doctor, Seismic QC Leader and Contractor Team Leader to develop project HSE Schedule, such as (but not limited to):

•   Company-Contractor “Joint HSE Audit & Inspection”, including Topography Survey, Rintis-Bridging, Drilling, Recording, Explosive handling, Environmental monitoring, Camps hygiene and sanitation survey, Clinic-Ambulance equipment, etc.

•   Emergency Response Drill, such as (but not limited to); Pre-start up drill and Medevac drill (involve Incident Management Team).

•   Ensure every drill will be reported and documented.

•   Propose the “master schedule” for Project Manager and HSE Coordinator review and input.

8. Set up “Project HSE Committee”, Chaired by the Company Seismic QC Leader and take role as Secretary of Committee. Propose a weekly meeting and an agenda; involve Jakarta “Company and Contractor” HSE Team.

 Requirements:

• Diploma or University degree in Science or Engineering with specialization in QHSE.

• Hold valid Migas certificate and NEBOSH certificate

• HSEQ Management System knowledge (OSHA 18001, ISO 14001 or ISO 9001).

• Min 4 years relevant experience as O&G S&E Supervisor in Seismic projects and Min 10 years in        O & G operation sector as HSE professional.

• Fluent spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia and English. 

MEDICAL ADVISOR

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all personnel are aware of the project occupational health hazards and conducts medical briefings for new personnel as needed.

2. Ensure Contractor and subcontractor health screening, promotion, prevention and curative program are in line with Company HSE requirement, referring to Section 5.

3. Ensure COVID-19 Protocol is provided and implemented as per agreed document. Report to the Field HSE Leader if there is any deviation.

4. Ensure Site health Review and Project Medical Evacuation Response Procedures (MERP) are up to date and communicated to all relevant personnel.

5. Ensure pre-employment health screening is performed prior to every employee departure to project site (Company, Contractor and Subcontractors, no exception!). In order to control the fit to work certificate quality and validity, Company doctor shall receive and review all medical check document. Note: Company doctor shall issue recommendation accepted or not accepted. 

Requirements:

• University degree majoring in Medical Doctor (preferable an MD with Occupational Health Doctor Extension)

• competent knowledge and experience of occupational health and hygiene practices..

• at least 5 years’ experience Oil and Gas Industry (Seismic and/or Drilling)

• has experience in MEDEVAC planning and with HSE management systems.

• shall hold ATLS, ACLS and National Hyperkes certificate.

• shall able to fluently speaking and writing in Bahasa Indonesia and English

QUALITY CONTROL PUBLIC RELATION (QCPR)

Main Responsibilities:

1. Establish and Maintain Good Working Relations with Local Government Authorities (i.e. Head of Districts, Head of Villages, Local Forestry Offices).

2. Coordinate and supervise PR of seismic contractor to maintain Good Working Relations with Local Government Authorities (i.e. Head of Districts, Head of Villages, Local Forestry Offices)

3. Establish and Maintain Good Working Relations with Local 3D Seismic Overlapping Companies

4. Establish and Maintain Good Relationship with Local Communities, especially those being affected with our 3D Seismic area

5. Coordinate and supervise PR of seismic contractor to maintain Good Working Relations with Local 3D Seismic Overlapping Companies

6. Supervise the Seismic Contractor QCPR to perform the inventory to houses, trees and land prior and after the 3D Seismic Activity

7. Prepare community relation daily report to QC representatives

8. Verify the inventory list prior and after the 3D seismic activity

9. Keep good record of the inventory result (photo and data)

10. To obtain approval to Stakeholder Relations Department (SRD) for the Compensation Claim based on the Verified Inventory List

11. With their responsible thus professional analysis and judgment, identify and mitigate potential issues, risks, complaints, grievances coming because of the project’s execution.

12. Routine Daily Coordination with SRD (Jakarta Office) & Prepare Daily Report.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 Years of Seismic Experience in South Sumatera and Jambi Area

• Intermediate English Language

• Minimum Diploma Graduates or (High School for Long Seismic PR experiences)

• Good Interpersonal Skills

• Good Communication Skills

EXPLOSIVE COORDIANTOR

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the compliance of the contract’s explosive material storage and handling with respect to the prevailing regulation – Ditjen Migas regulation (Ref. SNI-13-6911-2002 Explosive Handling for Safe Conduct in Indonesia / Implementation) and KAPOLRI regulation No.2 tahun 2008 Build & operate Temporary explosive storage

2. Coordinate with local / national Police and Ditjen Migas for seismic explosive material storage and handling

3. Serve in good manner requests of explosive material for the field seismic loading / preloading operations

4. Supervise seismic explosive material loading / unloading between Main Explosive Storage, Field / Temporary Explosive Storages and seismic lines

5. Supervise seismic explosive material loading / unloading from Explosive Supplier to Main Explosive St
