Strategic Purchaser (Indirect Purchaser - Middle East and Asia)

We are looking for Strategic Purchaser (Indirect Purchaser - Middle East and Asia). This position is a permanent opportunity and its location is Indonesia, or Singapore or Philippine.

What will you be doing

As Strategic Purchaser (Indirect Purchaser - Middle East and Asia), your work will focus on these responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Operational Excellence

a. Identify sourcing needs and implement appropriate strategic sourcing process with relevant stakeholders and independently

b. Lead analysis of market and competitive conditions and provide input to category manager, IP Sub Regional Manager, and internal stakeholder

c. Design and implement tactical action steps to execute strategy on assigned indirect category/sub category

d. Manage supplier base. Leverage spend across sub-region and region if appropriate

e. Identify opportunities for consolidation of spend. Design and implement strategies to expand the solution footprint to other categories, geographies and suppliers

f. Identify cost and process improvement opportunities

g. Coordinate strategic work with category manager and procurement centre manager

h. Acts as key user to WeBuy and other Indirect Purchasing tools in collaboration with Wartsila Shared Service Center - Indirect Purchasing - Operative Purchaser

2. Supplier Relationship Management

a. Manage sourcing process, content, and results in alignment with company's purchasing directives

b. Perform supplier stability assessment,

c. Select, prepare, and execute agreements, NDA's (non disclosure agreement), SLA's (Service Level Agreements), DPA's (delegation of procurement authority) and related documentation

d. Manage and enhance the relationship with Key or selected suppliers in an innovative way to maximize value

e. Develops world-class supplier relationships to ensure that maximum value is delivered to business.

f. Monitor compliance of purchasing directives, and escalate non-compliance to appropriate managers/directors for further guidance and appropriate remedial action

g. Follow up and analyze supplier performance via SRM (Supplier relationship management) and VMS (Vendor Management System), implementing preventive and corrective action plan for low performance suppliers

h. WeBuy Catalog creation, implementation, updating and improvements, together with Wartsila Shared Service Center - Indirect Purchasing - Operative Purchaser

3. Relationship Management

a. Manage relationship with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for the assigned categories to ensure quality of supply and improved value to the company

b. Build strong rapport with stakeholders and local Key suppliers

c. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance with purchasing directives and strategies

d. Control and escalate recurring urgencies with internal stakeholder requests

e. Collaborate with Category Managers, IP Regional and IP Sub Regional Manager, WSSC Operative purchasing team

4. Indirect Purchasing KPIs

a. Responsible for IP KPIs and PPIs (Purchasing Performance Indicator) in assigned category, in collaboration with WSSC IP, such as:

i. WeBuy PO Coverage

ii. WeBuy PO Lines via catalogues

iii. Contract coverage

iv. Vendor Management System (VMS) Supplier Rating

v. Payment Days

vi. Savings Tracker

vii. PO Coverage (PPI)

viii. DPA/ECMC coverage (PPI)

ix. Number of vendors (PPI)

b. Define and implement necessary corrective actions as needed

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering

• 2 years experience in SCM (Supply Chain Management) category management role and more than 5 years in SCM (Supply Chain Management) operation. experience in Indirect Purchasing categories will be an advantage.

• experience to map the sourcing pool of each respective countries among SEA region

• good knowledge in data analysis and TCO (total cost of ownership)

• Clear evidence of Negotiation, Collaborating and Communication skills

• high integrity and ownership

• able to do frequent business travelling

Account Sales Coordinator

Your role will include the following accountabilities:

• Responsible for managing Specific Accounts to achieve specific yearly sales target.

• CRM Key User to serve Energy Business Regional Austral Asia (EBRAA).

• Local Data Maintainer (LDM) for Customer / Installation master data (SAP).

• Monitoring travel and planned customer visit schedules of Account managers. Ensure that   Customer Visit Report is logged in CRM before releasing expense claims into WSSC.

• Monitoring Sales KPIs on CRM Dashboard to all EBRAA Sales team.

• Supporting Sales team in organizing Wartsila customer events and related marketing activities.

• Responsible to coordinate all Sales Teams Customer Evaluation Monitor (CEM) KPI.

• Use only CRM for updating information pertaining to own Accounts.

• Directing all ‘A’ Accounts onto Wartsila new ‘On-line Services’ Portal.

Development Responsibilities:

• Sales handling.

• CRM competence.

• Wartsila new On-line Services “Portal”.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have experience handling Sales Account.

• Have minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Sales.

• Have a good experience on CRM (Sales Force) as a daily tool.

• Have attained a Bachelor degree.

• Have a valid working permit in Indonesia.
