An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining, and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our expansion project in Fixed Plant area, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position :

TECHNICAL ADVISOR PROCESS MAINTENANCE -  FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• To give professional advice and coordinate the activities of Process maintenance concentrator and work to assure that availability goals are attained so that production plans are realized, with area responsibility  Primary Crushing, Conveyor, Water treatment Plant, Milling and Pebble crushing, Float, Lime plant, Reagent Plant, Fresh water, Sea water intake, Concentrate pump, and Utility Process area also Filter plant.

• To give mentoring, coaching and developing national superintendent and frontline foremen to develop and sustain efficient work practices and achieve world class fixed plant maintenance practices and safety culture.  Apply field experience and technical expertise to implement safe working procedures for maintenance activities.

• Ensure that safety, equipment availability and plant production goals are met in compliance with applicable procedures, regulatory and engineering standards.

• Perform a variety of process maintenance/operation/ engineering duties including implementation of trials and evaluation of new technologies to optimize plant performance and availability.

• Ensures that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs.

• Reviews all maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to assure optimal equipment and plant availability to meet business needs.

• Responsible for supervising all maintenance Process activities. Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and conduct periodic safety inspections.

• Assists in developing departmental procedure and policies (SOP / STP development). May propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient in Process Maintenance management.

• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities and devise new approaches to problems encountered.

• Oversees new installations, including design, modifications, and new installation start-ups.

• Ensure all members of the Maintenance organisation are aware of, and understand, the Maintenance Strategy, and its key goals.

• Monitor changing business needs and alter strategies to suit; demonstrate involvement in change processes, give constructive feedback when & where required; Communicate changes with team, remove barriers to successful implementation.

• Develop and Maintain a shutdown management strategy to minimise risk and reduce the impact to the operation

• Develop, Maintain & Monitor Departmental KPI (adjusts strategy/plan to suit changing business needs)

• Ensure that All Crew Members Understand and Follow Standard Task Procedure, to maintain clear & concise position descriptions, communicate responsibility and accountability of role

• Undertake negotiation for budgets and financial plans with relevant groups and individuals in ways that build commitment to the plans; Manage Department’s Budget, identify issues, and propose improvements; Monitors and reviews cost, establishes and maintains budgets and recommends the replacement or updating of equipment.

• Report budget vs actual and variation to plan with justification (budget & cost control)

• Establishes systems to ensure that the organisation's continuous improvement processes are communicated to all stakeholders.

What skills and experience do you need?

• A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, process controls, metallurgy, chemical engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in, electrical, instrumentation &PLC/DCS systems in the mining/concentrating industry, or in a specialty area are necessary, with has minimum 5+ years’ experience working in similar role as Manager/ Senior Superintendent/ Senior Advisor in field process maintenance/ fixed plant project management;

• Certified of Competency for Middle Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from DEMR (POM).

• Experience in the management and administration of budgets and financial controls in a multinational company dan process maintenance industry;

• High computer literacy with all business and maintenance related software functions;

• Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills;

• Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously;

SENIOR SUPERVISOR UPSTREAM MAINTENANCE- FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• To coordinate the activities of maintenance work to assure that availability goals are attained so that production plans are realized;

• To develop, implement and lead mechanical maintenance for all fixed plant equipment and process systems;

• Directly supervises the Process Upstream Maintenance (SUCH AS Primary Circuit Maintenance, ROM Conveying, SAG and Ball Mill Maintenance, Mill Screening & Conveying, Pumping & Cyclones, Pebble Crushing Maintenance). Sets goals and coordinates the activities of the Supervisor, Engineer and Planner to ensure that schedule maintenance and emergency repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to production schedule;

• Ensures that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs;

• Reviews all maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to assure optimal equipment and plant availability to meet business needs;

• Responsible for supervising all upstream mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed. Conduct periodic safety inspections;

• Monitors and reviews costs, establishes and maintains budgets and recommends the replacement or updating of equipment;

• Oversees new installations, including design, modifications, and new installation start-ups.

• Support and coordinate the development of maintenance plans, budgets and schedules.

Some of your duties will include:

• Designing and calculations, maintaining, implementing, or improving upstream maintenance equipment products, facilities, components, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.

• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

• Conferring with other functions, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible for all operational, maintenance, and technical personnel;

• Provide support, advice and guidance to others processing plant foreman, process operator and control room operator to optimizing the recovery rate of the process plant;

• Develop and implement procedures for the ROM Conveying and related equipment upstream maintenance;

• Ensure the transfer of technology to all employees in process group and the promotion and support of training and skill development;

• Work with Managers, Superintendents and Senior Supervisors (Planning, Engineering & Plant) to ensure that dry plant equipment of a metallurgical process plant operates according to Standard Operating Procedures (and that all machinery/equipment is maintained according to supplier recommendation and industry best practices) within determined budgets and meet demand;

• Ensure that all dry plant preventive and predictive maintenance plans are in accordance with the needs of the operation that activities are planned and scheduled via a computerized maintenance management system;

• Ensure that economical spares inventories are established and maintained. Actively seek alternative suppliers to meet quality and cost targets;

• Provide input to shutdown planning in coordination with Planners so that plant availability is maximized and contractor resources is minimized;

• Systematically develop methods, materials, tools and parts so downtime is minimal;

• Provide technical support for the mechanical maintenance personnel on a daily basis to maximize production and efficiencies and optimize costs;

Some of your duties will include:

• Coordinate the activities of maintenance work to assure that availability goals are attained so that production plans are realized

• Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.

• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.

• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.

• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.

• Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.

• Conduct preventative maintenance work & follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.

SENIOR SUPERVISOR ELECTRICAL DOWNSTREAM - FIXED PLANT

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Directly supervise process maintenance electrical and instrumentation Downstream equipment;

• Schedule work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations, employee training and employee shifts to achieve desired throughput and availability;

• Direct and enforce departmental procedures/policies, administer discipline, enforcing company policies, enforcing applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.

• Conduct safety meetings, staff meetings, planned task observations and safety inspections.

• Regularly Facilitates and /or attends Safety toolbox meeting

• Carry out pre-shift, pre-use & general inspections at required intervals also Conduct regular on the job task observations, provide feedback.

• STP reviewed for all tasks before commencing work

• Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical or instrumentation maintenance of large machinery and piping in a milling/ processing environment are necessary.

• Has minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role as Senior Supervisor Electrical Downstream or other field process operations electrical maintenance/ fixed plant project management will be added value;

• Experience with large variable speed motors and controls are preferred, High Voltage Low Voltage, Large Motor, control System, UPS, etc.

SENIOR SUPERVISOR ELECTRICAL UPSTREAM - FIXED PLANT

(National - Site based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Directly supervise process maintenance electrical and instrumentation Downstream equipment;

• Schedule work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations, employee training and employee shifts to achieve desired throughput and availability;

• Direct and enforce departmental procedures/policies, administer discipline, enforcing company policies, enforcing applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.

• Conduct safety meetings, staff meetings, planned task observations and safety inspections.

• Regularly Facilitates and /or attends Safety toolbox meeting

• Carry out pre-shift, pre-use & general inspections at required intervals also Conduct regular on the job task observations, provide feedback.

• STP reviewed for all tasks before commencing work

• Competence and understanding of logical troubleshooting techniques also Participation in group problem solving initiatives (ie RCFA).

• Ensure that All Crew Members Understand and Follow Standard Task Procedure

• Ensure that work is completed in a timely fashion to satisfactory Standard

• Daily targets are derived from weekly targets which are, in turn derived from monthly targets

• System in place for periodic review of W/O's, equipment history and costs to identify opportunities for improvement

• Maintain clear & concise position descriptions, communicate responsibility and accountability of role

• Carry out audits and inspections in compliance with Environmental tracker

• Maintain all material storage areas to comply with company environmental policies

• Effective use of new technology to solve old problems

• Supervises the maintenance and correct use of tools and equipment such as diagnostic and calibration equipment

• Supervises in interpreting and using blueprints, specifications, vendor data, process flow sheets, drawings and schematic diagrams

• Supervises in installing instrument components, lay-outs of job and fabricating cable tray supports

• Supervises in performing calibration of process instrumentation and in modifying control loops,

• Removes/replaces instruments, adds and deletes systems. Supervises in performing maintenance and calibration of electrical and mechanical transducers

• Supervises the installation of pneumatic instruments and lines of air bellows for balancing purposes and hydraulic lines

What skills and experience do you need?

• Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical or instrumentation maintenance of large machinery and piping in a milling/ processing environment are necessary.

• Has minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role as Senior Supervisor Electrical Upstream or other field process operations electrical maintenance/ fixed plant project management will be added value;

• Experience with large variable speed motors and controls are preferred, High Voltage Low Voltage, Large Motor, control System, UPS, etc.
