We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position:

 HVAC Engineer (URGENT)

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (Mechanical)/NFPS

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Seniority  : Expert Engineer

Working Experiences : Minimum 7 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract (6 months contract)

Work location   : Jakarta

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

• At least 5 years working experience in HVAC engineering work (EPCI offshore projects). Graduates from reputable universities.

• The application of a good level of theoretical knowledge in designs & selection studies, of the HVAC system equipment especially ACCU, AHU, PAC, Chiller. Experience in Package equipment such as Breathing Air System, Chemical Injection Package is a plus point.

• Having knowledge of International code standard for HVAC for onshore and offshore design.

• Familiar with HVAC software, especially HAP.

• All around experience in work scoping, HVAC & Package vendor management, FAT, Field Engineering, and preferably commissioning & troubleshooting experience.

• Good communication skill, approachable, and able to work with others. Experience in interfacing with field operations and maintenance team is a plus point

• Preferably has previously interfaced with local and foreign HVAC equipment packager and work on brownfield area.

• Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.

• Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Develop Engineering works and activities especially for HVAC and Package equipment, ensuring the compliance with Specification, QA/QC and HSE requirement.

The task including;

• Support Lead to reviews Contractual technical documentation and requirements.

• Support Lead to defines engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines and optimizes systems ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.

• Prepares HVAC design basis, selection study and cooling load calculation.

• Prepares the technical documentation for HVAC/Package requisitions (specification, data sheets, drawing, etc., where requested).

• Technical negotiation with vendors and controls of vendor documents.

• Prepares technical evaluation and technical tabulation for vendor technical alignment.

• Follow-up of assigned HVAC/Package equipment after order award.

• Checks and signs all vendor, drawings in coordination with other disciplines

• Attends to internal review activities and participates to inter-discipline check meetings (where required)

• Define detail engineering activities (layouts, routings, supports, etc.).

• Provide support for expediting and testing activities.

• Provide support for document management and prepare final documentation book.

• Prepare material take-off to support construction activity.

• Assist construction activity providing information and clarification through vendor(s).
