Copper Gold Mining Company – Warehouse & Strategic Planning; 2 positions

An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and has a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our Operation Team with a variety of projects and challenging tasks, we are looking for highly motivated professionals eager for brave thinking, foster innovation, and build collaboration to achieve operational excellence to fill the following position :

ADVISOR STRATEGIC PLANNING

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Manage the repair function of all components by developing short term and long term strategic plans for the overhaul and repair of components with the allocated suppliers and in-house workshop

• Strategically plan; co-ordinate and manage the logistics of the overhaul/ repair of components

• Control component repair and rebuild costs and assure their availability

• Partner with Procurement and Logistics to support the negotiations of long term agreements with the allocated suppliers

• Manage the process of analysis and evaluation of quotations; Turn Around Time (TAT); costing; invoices; and other technical / administrative functions; in order to ensure close support and continuous collaboration the relevant departments.

• Proactively monitor and report on each component send for warranty, repair, replace or refurbished and effectively manage performance shortfalls in a timely manner; escalating issues to senior management where necessary.

• Ensuring the safety of staff in carry out all activities.

What skills and experience do you need?

• 5+ years of technical management experience with component repair processes .

• Excellent understanding of the mine maintenance function and procedures.

• Proficient technical knowledge of major mining equipment.

• Proficient computer skills, ideally with SAP

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong people skills.

• Available to work extended hours.

ADVISOR WAREHOUSING

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

• Implementing operational policies and procedures.

• Implementing and overseeing security operations.

• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.

• Ensuring the safety of staff.

• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.

• Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.

• Assisting with deliveries where required.

What skills and experience do you need?

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.

• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.

• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.

• Proficient computer skills, ideally with SAP

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong people skills.

• Available to work extended hours.
