Government unveils tender of Gunung Ciremai geothermal area

The directorate said in a tender announcement seen on Thursday that individual companies or consortium of companies interested to participate in the tender can get the registration form on November 17-December 14 at between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., at the office of the Gunung Ciremai tender secretariat with the following address

The registration form can also be downloaded via the following web address www.ebtke.esdm.go.id starting November 18.
Registration is also scheduled on November 17-December 14 at the same office address.
The 38,560 hectares Gunung Ciremai geothermal working area (WKP) spans the Kuningan and Majalengka regencies in West Java, and has probable reservers of 150 MW and reservoir temperature estimate of 210 degrees Celsius. Planned geothermal power plant capacity is 110 MW, with commercial operation date target of 2025. The ceiling electricity tariff is 15.9 US cents per kWh, according to Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No 17/2014.
