Govt unveils re-tender of Danau Ranau geothermal working area

As has been previously reported, the government has decided to repeat the tender as an earlier tender held in August was only participated by one company namely PT Sari Prima Energi, thus failing to meet the criteria for the number of participants.
The details of the tender are explained as follows:
- Name of Geothermal Working Area: Danau Ranau
- Location: Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency, Sumatera Selatan Province; and Lampung Barat Regency, Lampung Province
- Area: 8.561 Ha
- Probable Reserves: 210 MW
- Estimated Reservoir Temperature: 200 0C (Geothermometer)
- Development Planning Capacity: 55 MW
- Project System: Total Project
- Ceiling Price: USD 14,6 ? /kWh (Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 17 Year 2014)
- Commercial Operation Date (COD): 2022
1. The eligibility to participate on the tender of Danau Ranau Geothermal Working Area are business entities with experiences and scope of works in geothermal, oil and gas, mineral/coal mining, or electricity generation.
2. The business entities who are qualified to participate on the tender process must fill in the registration form and submit the administration requirements as follows :
a. Copy of Deed of Incorporation and its Amendment legalized by the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Republic of Indonesia;
b. Business entities profile (including consortium member, for consortium entities)
c. Tax Registration Number and Tax Deposit Slip in the last 1 (one) year;
d. Letter of Statement stating that the business entities are not under investigation of law court, in bankruptcy conditions, being terminated and/or under criminal sanction (including consortium member, for consortium entities);
e. Letter of Interest to participate in the tender of Danau Ranau Geothermal Working Area, signed by President Director/Business entities leader on behalf of consortium agreement to represent the consortium.
3. Participants may take the registration form by:

4. Tender registration includes: submitting registration form, submitting required administrative document, submitting the deposit assurance and taking the tender document stage one which will be available to access by :

5. The registration can be represented by appropriate-official delegate by providing identification and Letter of Attorney from President Director/Business entities Leader (for the consortium delegate, shall provide the identification and Letter of Attorney from President Director/Business entities Leader stating the agreement to represent the consortium).
6. The amount of the tender assurance of Danau Ranau Geothermal Working Area tender is Rp 1.000.000.000,- (One Billion Rupiah).
