Indonesia Power?s unit to hold beauty contest for Tangkuban Parahu geothermal project

PT Tangkuban Parahu Geothermal Power (TPGP), a subsidiary of PT Indonesia Power, which is a unit of state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) (Persero) is preparing to hold a beauty contest to select contractors for its geothermal power plant project in Lembang, West Java.
Sugeng Triyono, President Director of TPGP, told Petromindo.com recently that the company is targeting to drill an exploration well in September 2016 with an initial depth target of 3000 meters/ "We are preparing beauty contest to seek for contractor for procurement and consultant for well design," he said.
Sugeng revealed that this year, the company is planning to only drill at its geothermal power plant project with a planned capacity of 2x55 MW in Lembang. Aside from drilling one exploration, the firm is also planning to resume the postponed civil works at the project?s location this year.
