Ministry to issue three governmental regulations on geothermal

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources targets to issue three governmental regulations this year for the implementation of Law No. 21/2014 on Geothermal.
This was said by newly-installed Geothermal Director Yunus Saefulhak on Thursday.
The geothermal law was endorsed by the House of Representatives in August of last year.
The three governmental regulations are the regulation on indirect utilization of geothermal steam for power generation, the regulation on geothermal production bonus and the regulation on direct utilization of geothermal steam for spa, drying and agribusiness. The government will prioritize the drafting of the first two regulations, Yunus said.
