PGE books higher net profit

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) booked a net profit of US$87.11 million last year, higher than the $69.71 million target.
The company said in a recent statement that the 2014 net profit was also slightly higher than the $87.06 million made in 2013.
PGE said that the stronger performance in 2014 was attributable among others to various efficiency measures, which has allowed a ?rebound? in its Kamojang geothermal power plant in West Java after one of its generation units was hit by fire.
