PGE spuds Kamojang well

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) announced recently it has spudded the KMJ-70/3 well in the Kamojang geothermal area, West Java, to help maintain steam supply for the Kamojang geothermal power plant.
General Manager for the Kamojang Area Wawan Darmawan said the well was spudded on January 23, and drilling is targeted to reach a depth of 3,000 meters.
Drilling location of the KMJ-70/3 well is within the KMJ-70 Kamojang geothermal cluster. The well is being spudded using PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia?s rig.
