INVITATION
NOTICE FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF APPLICANTS FOR ENGINEERING,
PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE REHABILITATION WORKS OF
KAMOJANG GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT UNITS 2 AND 3
The Kamojang Geothermal Power Plant Units 2 and 3 (2 X 55 MW) which was commissioned in 1987, the power plant has been operating for over 30 years and is nearing the end of their design life. PT PIN (Persero) (?PLN?) has received a loan from KfW, a German state-owned development bank towards the cost for this rehabilitation project. PLN wishes to select potential bidders to rehabilitate and modernize Units 2 & 3 to extend their economic and technical life for up to 25 years whilst improving plant performance, efficiency and reliability.
The planned rehabilitation and modernization works for Kamojang Units 2 & 3 includes mechanical, electrical, control & instrumentation works for the main plant and equipment such as steam turbines, generators, cooling tower, vent station, control systems and instrumentation.
This Pre-Qualification is open to interested party or parties, either domestic or foreign partnership with domestic, who have previous experience in implementing power generation projects and will be selected through a competitive bidding process from a pool of Applicants that meet the qualification criteria set forth in Pre-Qualification Document The Qualification Criteria will be based on certain categories which shall represent the Applicant?s ability to undertake the rehabilitation of the power plant, its power generation experience and its financial strength.
PIN invites interested parties to submit Pre-Qualification application in accordance with the criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document. Only Applicants which Qualification Statements demonstrate that they meet all of the Qualification Criteria set forth in the Pre-Qualification Document will be shortlisted and invited to submit a bid proposal for the Project.
Pre-Qualification Document may be collected on October 10, 2017 until the submission date at the following hours 09.00 am until 03.00 pm West Indonesia Standard Time.

Applicants should submit to PIN, their application for the Pre-Qualification during normal business hours at or before 15.00 West Indonesia Standard Time on or before November 9th, 2017. Late application will be returned unopened to the Applicants.
