Preliminary survey planned for Gunung Kembar geothermal area

The Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has offered preliminary survey project for the Gunung Kembar geothermal area, spanning a number of regencies in Aceh and North Sumatra.
Interested entities must meet the necessary administrative requirements in obtaining the so-called geothermal preliminary survey area map, before making application for the project with the Investment Coordinating Board, the directorate general said in an announcement Tuesday.
