Turkey firms eye geothermal projects in Aceh

Two Turkey companies Hitay Holding A.S., and Aksa Enerji Uretim A.S. plan to develop geothermal power plants in Aceh, news portal Serambinews.com reported on Monday.
This was revealed by Aceh provincial administration Spokesman Mulyadi Nurdin to the news portal who said that Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf was on a visit to Turkey.
Irwandi signed MoUs regarding the planned geothermal projects with Chairman of Hitay Holding, Mehmet Emin Hitay, and Director of Aksa Enerji Uretim, Nesim Ibrahimhakkioglu, as well as Chairman of Enersis, Sahin Uruc. In developing its planned geothermal project, Aksa will team up with Enersis.
