Amid the decreasing electricity demand due to the Covid-19 outbreak, investment and development in the electricity sector remain important to be discussed, to maintain the reliability of current power supply and in the future. Kalimantan, an island with strategic natural resources, will sit under the spotlight, especially if the Indonesian state capital is moved to the island. With a relatively small and scattered electrical posture compared to Java Island, Kalimantan presents its own challenges to be developed.
