Bhumi Jati Power having its domicile in Desa Tubanan, Kecamatan Kembang, Kabupaten Jepara, Central Java Province. The following description of the position, qualifications and requirements:
1. Boiler Engineer (Code: BE B1)
a. Department : Engineering
b. Superior/User : Engineering Leader
c. Subordinate : -
d. Education : Degree (S1) or Diploma (D-3) in mechanical engineering.
e. Work Experience : Minimum two (2) years or equivalent experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Department in providing mechanical engineering services in the field of thermal power plant, or on chemical or petro plants.
f. Position overview : The Boiler Engineer supports the Engineering Leader in developing the Plant Equipment Criticality assessment for equipment related to Boiler as the plant systems and technical specialist support personnel. They develop procedures to ensure the long-term plant health through the prudent functionality of the Engineering Department.
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Participating in the team of plant engineers, in supporting the programme in pursuit of plant long-term welfare
• Development and generation of necessary procedures covering plant engineering and change management aspects
• Writing of plant change scheme specifications, while ensuring the application of effective codes and standards
• Executing, monitoring and controlling CM, PM and PdM maintenance items based on plant criticality, in terms of minimizing down time, by proposing effective maintenance tasks
• Support of the Maintenance team members in resolving technical deviations and investigating and developing the reports of any incidences
• Support with the technical evaluations of tender submissions
• Assisting with the development of feasibility studies including return on investment, and cost-benefit analysis
• Administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO)

2. C & I Engineer (Code: CIE B1)
a. Department : Engineering

e. Work Experience : The C&I Engineer shall have had prior working experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Department in providing electrical engineering services with at least two (2) years or equivalent experience and possess the skills to deliver key tasks as mentioned below in the field of thermal power plant, or on chemical or petro plants.
f. Position Overview : The Electrical Engineer supports the Engineering Leader in developing the Plant Equipment Criticality assessment for C&I equipment as the plant systems and technical specialist support personnel. They develop procedures to ensure the long-term plant health through the prudent functionality of the Engineering Department.
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Participating in the team of plant engineers, in supporting the programme in pursuit of plant long-term welfare.

3. Electrical Supervisor (Code: ELS B1)
a. Department : Maintenance Electrical

d. Education : Minimum Diploma (D3), Bachelor Degree (S1) is preferable in Electrical Eng.,
e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience in electrical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, including sub-station facilities
f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Preparation of maintenance plans for the electrical apparatus, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Generator including it’s IPB, Transformers, sub-station, emergency diesel generators and DC systems, etc., based on Annual Budget Operating Plan
• Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in terms of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, perform effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency maintenance team.
• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.
• Analyzing of any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.
• Managing the team in order to improve maintainability of the equipment.
• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the PdM activities.
• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the re-certification of Plant’s worthiness or other re-certification required by authorized institutions.
• Close coordination with Engineering and Procurement Dept. for managing 3rd party contracts/contractors
• Monitoring and supervision of third-party contractor activities as required during outages and exceptional maintenance activities.
• Provide and encourage time to time development of team’s knowledge and skill.
• Supporting Electrical Leader by preparing fault reports, updating spare parts status and tools management
4. CHP Shift Supervisor (Code: CHPSS B1)
a. Department : Jetty & Materials Dept.
b. Superior/User : CHP Leader
c. Subordinate : CHP Shift Staff
d. Education : Diploma (D3) in Electrical, or mechanical engineering with GPA greater than 3.00
e. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years in the position of Coal Handling Operations in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300MW, or in a coal mine with production capacity in excess of three million tons per annum.
f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Promoting safe & efficient operations within the work area of the Unit 5&6 coal stockpile and coal handling plant areas.
• Safeguarding and improving plant reliability, availability and environmental performance;
• Supervision, monitoring, training, development and welfare of the CHP Shift Staff in operation of the coal stockpile and coal handling plant.
• Supervision and monitoring of the Ship Unloader Operators (outside the normal working hours of the Jetty Materials Leader)
• Achievement of the daily and weekly fuel management plan developed with the Fuel Management Leader and approved by the Jetty & Materials Manager; and
• Shift by shift coordination with the power block Shift Leader.
5. CHP Electrical Technician (Code: CHPE B1)
a. Department : Electrical Maintenance
b. Superior/User : CHP Electrical Supervisor
c. Subordinate : -
d. Education : Senior High School Majoring in Electrical or Diploma degree (D3/S1) in Electrical Eng
e. Work Experience : Having 4 years Experiences for Senior High School graduated or 3 years experiences for D3 graduated in Power Generation Company or other large industries, fresh graduate for bachelor degree.
f. Other Requirements :
• Having maintenance competency certificate Level 1 will be preferable.
• Ability to remain alert during extended working hours
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include :
• Undertake Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued by Supervisor and base on maintenance procedure and instruction, for the scope of electrical apparatus within Coal and Ash Area, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Transformers and DC systems, etc., based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan.
• Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to Supervisor and record it into hardcopy work order.
• Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies.
• During mobilization period, take part in commissioning test and record it into database.
• Conduct of maintenance daily work with refer to Permit To Work (PTW) and BJS safety & environment rule.
• Conduct and maintain high standard for maintenance work refer to quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness concern.
• Fullfill check sheet completely and in correct manner of maintenance routine inspection work.
• Attend routine daily safety and technical tool box meeting.
• Conduct on site coordination and communication with operation and other maintenance sections to rectify complex problem.
• Inform to Supervisor related with site fault finding, contractor/BJS maintenance work progress, repair and testing result, repair method, manhours, etc.
• Participate to implement the policy of quality, safety & health and environment within the company.
• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.
• Analyzing of any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.
6. Jetty Material Leader (Code: JML B1)
a. Department : Jetty & Materials
b. Superior/User : Jetty & Materials Manager
c. Subordinate : Jetty Materials Staff, and Ship Unloader Operators
d. Education : Diploma (D3) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA greater than 3.00.
e. Work Experience : Minimum 3 years in the position of Leader of Jetty Operations in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300MW, or in a coal mine with production capacity in excess of three million tons per annum.
f. Position overview :
• The Jetty Materials Leader will be responsible for leading the Jetty and Materials staff and Ship Unloader Operators to achieve the identified targets for coal receiving and jetty operations at the Unit 5&6 site during the commissioning and operational periods.
• The Jetty Materials Leader will coordinate with the Coal Transporters and the Pilotage Service Provider as required to optimize performance, minimize cost and maintain targeted unloading rates.
• The Jetty Materials Leader will ensure that jetty operations are conducted in a safe manner and without environmental impact. Maintenance of cleanliness and housekeeping on the jetty and minimizing spillages of all types will be a focus. The Jetty Materials Leader will support the Jetty and Materials Manager in developing appropriate procedures in accordance with legislative and contractual requirements
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Promoting safe & efficient operations within the work area of the Tanjung Jati B Special Port and Coal Unloading Jetty.
• Supervision, monitoring, training, development and welfare of Jetty Materials Staff and Ship Unloader Operators
• Safeguarding and improving plant reliability, availability and environmental performance;
• Day-to-day and long-term supervision of the Coal Jetty
• Day-to-day and Long-term supervision of the Ship Unloaders and related Coal unloading equipment and facilities;
• Developing daily operations guidelines to achieve coal receiving targets and communicating same to Ship Unloader Operators and Jetty Material Staff; and
• Coordinate daily jetty operational plans to CHP Shift Leader for planned operations outside Monday-Friday day work hours.
• Day-to-day coordination with Coal suppliers, Coal Transporters and Pilotage Service Providers;
7. Boiler Leader (Code: BL B1)
a. Department : Maintenance Mechanical
b. Superior/User : Maintenance Mechanical Manager
c. Subordinate : Boiler Mechanical Supervisor
d. Education : Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Eng., Naval Eng.
e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience at mechanical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, especially Boiler pressure parts & it’s auxiliary, Pulverizers and rotating equipment. Preferably experienced in CFPP with a capacity of more than 300MW. Having such welding inspector certificate will be preferable. Having maintenance competency certificate Level 3 will be preferable
f. Other Skill : Computer Skill, basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word, MS-Project), knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) would be advantageous.
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Preparation of maintenance plans for the Boiler pressure parts & it’s auxiliary systems, Pulverizers and rotating equipment for mechanical scope of work, based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan,
• Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in term of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, performing effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency of the maintenance team.
• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience mechanical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, especially BOP systems.
h. Other Skill : Computer Skill, basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word, MS-Project), knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) would be advantageous.
i. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Preparation of maintenance plans for the Mechanical Balance of Plant systems, for mechanical scope of work based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan,
• Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in terms of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, performing effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency of maintenance team.
• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.
• Analyze any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.
• Managing the team in order to improve maintainability of the equipment.
• Close coordination with Engineering Department in relation to the PdM activities.

9. Engineering Leader (Code: EL B1)
a. Department : Engineering

d. Education : Degree (S1) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
e. Work Experience : The Engineering Leader shall have had prior working experience in Engineering and/or Maintenance Department in providing engineering services with at least three (3) years or equivalent experience and possess the skills to deliver key tasks as mentioned below in the field of thermal power plant, having a unit capacity of at least 300MW.
f. Position overview : The Engineering Leader supports the Engineering Manager in being custodian of plant design and provides plant systems and technical specialist support. Developing of procedures to ensure the long-term plant health through the prudent functionality of the Engineering Department.
g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Lead the team of engineering staff, in supporting the long-term health of plant equipment;
• Development and generation of necessary procedures regarding to plant engineering (e.g. coal combustion management);
• Maintaining Equipment management, including writing of plant change scheme specifications, while ensuring the application of effective codes and standards;
• Resolving technical deviations and investigating and developing the reports of any incidents
(including coordination with the project owner’s TSA team);
• Support with technical evaluations of tender submissions;
• Assisting with the development of feasibility studies including return on investment;
• Providing plant monitoring and evaluation support of life-cycle evaluation and surveillance services;
• Administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO);
• Provide training to Maintenance group members on the proper use of CMMS, and
• Coaching and mentoring of engineering staff in the development of skills for the effective plant management.
10. Unit Controller (Code: UC B1)
a. Superior/User : Shift Leader
b. Subordinate : Assistant Unit Controller
c. Education : Minimum Diploma (D3), Bachelor Degree is preferable in Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., Naval Eng., Physic Eng., Chemical Eng.
d. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience in Power Generation, including 3 years holding Unit Controller or Assistant Unit Controller of at least 300 MW CFPP.
e. Other Requirement : Holding any Power Plant Operation Competency Certificate Level 2 and Boiler Operation Class 1.
f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for system and or Unit operations.
• Operation of the Unit, including start up and shut down in safe, reliable, efficient manner while ensuring environmental compliance.
• Communication and or coordination with the Plant Operator, Water Treatment & Waste Water Treatment Operators, Coal Handling Operators, Maintenance staff, Chemist Station staff to ensure cooperation for all operation activities including for periodic switching/confirmation tests, if any.
• Provision of trouble shooting and or proposals for efficiency improvements on systems, Unit and or Plant operations, to the Shift Leader.
• Preparing of defect reports to CMMS both for DCS defect or Plant Operator finding.
• Provision of skills and knowledge transfer to the Plant Operators on an ongoing basis.
• Periodic secondment for training as Fire Fighting team member, whenever required.
