1. Jetty & Coal Handling Plant Leader (Code: JCHPL B6)

a. Department  : Jetty & Materials

b. Superior/User : Jetty & Materials Manager

c. Subordinate  : Jetty & Materials Shift Supervisor, Jetty & Materials Staff

d. Education  : Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

e. Work Experience : Minimum 3 years in the position of Leader of Jetty Operations in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300MW, or in a coal mine with production capacity in excess of three million tons per annum

f. Position overview : The Jetty & Materials Operation Leader will be responsible for the full coal transport operational process at the Unit 5&6 site incorporating coal receiving, jetty and Port management, coal stockpile management and coal supply to the boiler coal silos in a safe and prudent manner during the Mobilization Period as well as the Operational Period thereafter under the direction of the Jetty & Materials Manager.  He will coordinate with the Jetty Management provider and the Pilotage Service provider as required to optimize performance, minimize cost and maintain secure strategic stockpiles of Coal.  In accordance with the current Fuel Management Plan, he will provide long term and day to day coordination and control of the J&M shift group plus sub-contracted scope (Pilotage Service provider, and Jetty Management Service provider, and Heavy Equipment Service provider) to unload coal from the coal shipment vessels, receive coal into the coal stockyard and deliver coal (either direct or from stacker reclaimer) to the boiler coal silos of Unit 5 & 6.

The Jetty & Materials Operation Leader will also be responsible for operation of the Coal Handling runoff waste water system.  Responsible for developing appropriate procedures in accordance with legislative and contractual requirements. 

g. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Promoting safe & efficient operations within the work area of the Tanjung Jati B Special Port, Coal Unloading Jetty, Ash Handling and Storage facilities, as well as safeguarding and improving plant reliability, availability and environmental performance;

• Supervision, monitoring, training, development and welfare of the Jetty & Materials department operational personnel

• Day-to-day and long-term management of the Coal Jetty and port including Jetty Management provider and  Pilotage Service provider;

• Day-to-day and long-term management of the Heavy Equipment Service provider;

• Day-to-day and Long-term management of the overall Coal unloading plant and facilities, Coal stockpile and Coal handling plant and facilities;

• Day-to-day coordination with Fuel Management staff ,Operations Department, Engineering Department and Maintenance Departments to ensure supply of the optimum coal blend to the boiler coal silos;

• Day-to-day operational support to Fuel Management areas including fuel oil receiving and storage systems, ash storage facilities area, and plant waste management, including bottom ash, fly ash , B3 waste and other wastes

2. Coal Handling Shift Staff (Code: CHPSS B6)

a. Department  : Jetty and Material

b. Superior/User : Jetty Materials Shift Supervisor

c. Subordinate  : -

d. Education  : Minimum Technical High School plus Power Plant study, Diploma (D3) or Bachelor Degree is preferable, in Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Enviro Eng, Mining Eng.

e. Work Experience : Fresh Graduate 1-2 years’ experience in the position of Coal Handling Operations in a large-scale Thermal Electric Power Generation plant of Unit capacity of at least 300MW, or in a coal mine with production capacity in excess of three million tons per annum, or 1-2 years’ experience in the position of ship unloading operations for bulk materials

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Preparation and periodical review of Standard Operation Procedures for Coal Handling Plant (CHP) including Stacker/Reclaimer/Ship Unloader.

• Patrol work and operation of CHP/ Ship Unloader, and Signalman for other Ship Unloader Operators.

• Provision of trouble shooting and/or proposals for improvements on CHP/ Ship unloader to the Jetty & Materials Shift Supervisor.

• Communicate to the jetty materials Supervisor for any findings of defect and or abnormality of CHP/ Ship unloader.

• Support for Ship unloader operation while receiving coal vessels.

• Patrol work and Operation of other Coal Handling Plant while not receiving coal vessels.

• Preparation and issue of work permits (PTW) on plant under control of J&M department as directed.

• Periodic secondment for training as Fire Fighting team member, whenever required

3. Electrical Supervisor (Code: ESV B6)

a. Department  : Maintenance Electrical

b. Superior/User : Maintenance Electrical Leader

c. Subordinate  : Maintenance Electrical Technician

d. Education  : Minimum Diploma (D3), Bachelor Degree (S1) is preferable in Electrical Eng.,

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years’ experience in electrical maintenance supervisory level in Power Generation, including sub-station facilities

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Preparation of maintenance plans for the electrical apparatus, such as LV/HV motors, LV/HV bus bars and switchgear, Generator including it’s IPB, Transformers, sub-station, emergency diesel generators and DC systems,  etc., based on Annual Budget Operating Plan

• Monitoring and controlling of maintenance performance in terms of minimizing down time, optimizing the costs, perform effective maintenance tasks, and continuously improving competency maintenance team.

• Support in developing equipment criticality assessments for prioritizing the maintenance activities and determination of necessary spare parts.

• Analyzing of any defect and or abnormality report of the equipment to determine any corrective maintenance required to be taken.

• Managing the team in order to improve maintainability of the equipment.

• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the PdM activities.

• Close coordination with Engineering Dept. in relation to the re-certification of Plant’s worthiness or other re-certification required by authorized institutions.

• Close coordination with Engineering and Procurement Dept. for managing 3rd party contracts/contractors

• Monitoring and supervision of third-party contractor activities as required during outages and exceptional maintenance activities.

• Provide and encourage time to time development of team’s knowledge and skill.

• Supporting Electrical Leader by preparing fault reports, updating spare parts status and tools management

4. C & I Supervisor (Code: CIS B6)

a. Department  : Electrical Maintenance

b. Superior/User : C & I Leader

c. Subordinate  : C & I Technician

d. Education  : Diploma (D3) in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation. Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than seven (7) years as C & I Technicians or Bachelor Degree (S1) with minimum four (4) years of experience in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW).

e. Work Experience : Minimum seven (7) years’ experience at C & I maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in Power Generation.

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued to Technicians and base on maintenance procedure and instruction, for the scope of C & I apparatus, based on Annual Budget and Operating Plan.

• Supervise and control quality and safety for contractors during Major Maintenance overhaul or outage work and daily maintenance work.

• Collect and keep all data record of repair, testing and measurement result of C & I equipments.

• Report all significant known operational, design, equipment deficiencies/defects to C & I Leader and record it into CMMS work order.

• Perform periodic maintenance inspections to identify and report status of equipment and system deficiencies.

• Develop of technicians capability and knowledge by technical, safety and non technical training (initial training of newly recruited, general technical, emergency response, first aid, general safety, maintenance procedure, administration procedure etc.)

• During mobilization period, take part in testing and commissioning and record the specification of equipments and test result in correct record database.

• Maintain work order hardcopy file in database and fulfill work order Leadering comment in CMMS.

• Maintain of Permit To Work (PTW) and company safety & environment rule implementation in maintenance daily activity.

• Support of technician work for fault troubleshooting and analysis to the critical problem in main equipments.

• Monitor and maintain high standard for C & I maintenance work refer to quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness concern.

• Develop C & I maintenance work check sheet and instruction, to be reviewed by Leader.

• Conduct routine daily safety and technical tool box meeting before distribute work order to technicians.

• Propose to Leader about some C & I maintenance works plan which to be schedulled and conducted on next outage period.

• Propose to Leader about some new critical spare parts to be added and stocked in CMMS database and Store.

5. Turbine Mechanical Supervisor (Code: TBMS B6)

a. Department  : Mechanical Maintenance

b. Superior/User : Mechanical Turbine Leader

c. Subordinate  : Mechanical Turbine Technician

d. Education  : Diploma degree (D3) in Mechanical Eng., (Senior Technical High School with Experiences more than 10 years as Turbine Mechanical Technicians in large capacity of Coal Fired Power Station (>400 MW) is encouraged to apply)

e. Work Experience : Minimum 7 years experience at mechanical maintenance supervisory level or senior Technicians in power generation, especially Turbine and its auxiliary system

f. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Perform and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance (PM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) Work base on CMMS work order issued to technicians and base on mechanical Turbine maintenance procedure and instruction.

• Supervise and control quality and safety for contractors during Major Maintenance overhaul or outage work and daily maintenance work

• Maintain function test of all of mechanical rotating parts/equipments in Turbine Area as well as standard required.
