PT Archi Indonesia; Maintenance Electrical Reliability Engineer

Archi Indonesia is an Indonesian based pure gold mining company, with a focus on gold in Indonesia, with the headquarter in Jakarta. Our subsidiaries in Manado - North Sulawesi, PT. Meares Soputan Mining (MSM) and PT. Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (TTN) at Tokatindung Project Site –are currently seeking below professional in order to support our seamless operation:

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICAL RELIABILITY ENGINEER (CODE: MERE-VI/21)

(Location: Toka Tindung Site)

Duties:

• Contribute as instructed to the preparation budget for reliability projects and regularly report against budget;

• Monitor and analyse spares usage, and continually seek to improve consumption;

• Participate in weekly planning and shutdown meetings to ensure appropriate input into weekly work plan and shutdown plan;

• Identify, establish and execute condition based monitoring activities related to monitoring electrical and instrumentation devices and equipment for the process plant equipment;

• Review and analyse collected data and recommend remedial actions, entering work requests into Pronto;

• Maintain Con Mon tools and instruments in good condition at all times;  

• Ensure that the equipment and tools necessary to perform allocated work are present and in good condition, prior to start of work;

• Review, analyse and report downtime data and propose remedial action and coordinate rectification work as necessary;

• Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis on equipment failures, with the objective of understanding the failure modes and consequently, adapt the maintenance strategies and activities to prevent re-occurrences;

• In conjunction with Maintenance Planners, review and modify maintenance processes, procedures, servicing techniques, inspection periodicities or applicability to equipment;

• Optimize systems to identify plant/asset criticalities and mitigate failures;

• Identify and implement initiatives of continuous improvement;

• Provide technical assistance to other maintenance personnel as requested or instructed;

• Contribute to the preparation of the monthly maintenance report;

• Clearly communicate the reliability philosophy and processes to other teams and departments;

• In conjunction with the RE team collate & document monthly Condition Monitoring reports;

• Use SAP for all activities for costing and task allocations.

• In conjunction with Maintenance Department, coordinate the preparation of standard rebuild procedures and specifications for all repetitive rebuild work.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering;

2. Fluent in English, spoken and written;

3. Have 5 years electrical engineering experience in an industrial environment, preferably mining, but construction and other heavy industries including oil and gas, cement or manufacturing would be considered;

4. Have basic understanding and familiarity with reliability engineering principles;

5. Preferably previous experience with electrical related condition monitoring techniques, including testing of electrical apparatus;

6. Understanding and previous experience of computerized maintenance management systems preferably SAP;

7. Accomplished and proficient computer literacy, specifically MS Word, Excel, MS Project or similar;

8. Able to develop electrical maintenance strategies in accordance with OEM recommendations to achieve sustainable operations;

9. Skill in monitoring on equipment performance and forecast equipment risk and able to assist in the development and monitoring of the Electrical Reliability Program also support the supervising of contracted work packages performance

10. Have experience in developing new and optimizing existing maintenance tactics/strategies using FMECA, FMEA and RCM principles and methodology;

11. Able to lead improvement teams using RCA methodology;

12. Skill in monitoring MTTF and MTTR data with the intention to reduce both;

13. Skill in developing as instructed SOPs relevant to the section that will ensure that field tasks are formalised and documented from a work perspective and that safe work can we followed;

14. Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environmental.
