UPC Renewables is a leading renewable energy wind farm developer, now expanding into Indonesia. UPC was founded over 18 years ago. The company focuses on wind and solar energy production. It has developed, financed, and installed over 1,000 utility-scale wind turbine generators in China, Italy, and the US and has active wind development in several other countries, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Morocco, and Tunisia. UPC is expanding its efforts in Indonesia with a long-term business plan to build a significant number of these Green Energy Projects throughout the country eg. Developing several renewable energy projects throughout the archipelago; wind, solar, battery storage, biomass, hydropower, and hybrid systems. UPC is a fast-growing company that offers upward mobility to talented employees and is a leading renewable energy developer Company in Indonesia. UPC has successfully built (and now operates) the First utility-scale wind farm project (75 MW) in Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap) Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia and remains fully operational and performing to expectations.

UPC is currently looking for a candidate to join our team, with the following descriptions:

1. Position: Manager Quality

Location: Based in Jakarta (Local Hire)

Responsibilities

To manage end-to-end Quality Management Systems through all business operations including managing and continuously improving the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with company and international standards and to lead the company in achieving ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certification.

Requirements

a) Degree in engineering is preferable

b) Have experience in HSE and Quality minimum of 10 – 12 years of experience

c) Complete understanding of the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000:2008 Quality Management Systems

d) 5 years as Management Representative as described in ISO 9001, ISO 14000, or OHSAS 18001

e) Broad knowledge of the construction and energy fields with an emphasis on quality

f) Experience in the implementation of Quality training programs from basic up to complex skills.

g) Auditing and assessing the effectiveness of quality, safety, and environmental management systems on construction sites.

h) Demonstrable experience in securing Organizational ISO certification in Indonesia.

i) Having experience as an External Quality Auditor in a certification body is preferred.

2. Position: Technician WTG

Location: Based in project (Sidrap)

Responsibilities

To review, repair, test, install and maintain electrical system, instrument system & mechanical system including related equipment and structures while maintaining a healthy & a safe working environment with the prime objective of optimizing performance and safety of all Wind Turbines.

Requirements

a. Technical, Operational, Maintenance skills: Wind turbine generators, SCADA, process controllers, low voltage & medium voltage electrical system and protective systems, field instrument devices and testing equipment, operations and maintenance procedures, environmental regulations, and plant safety procedures.

b. Have extensive experience in plant operational works with a capability of monitoring direct staff or subcontractors

c. Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills

d. Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams

e. Ability to work independently without much supervision

f. Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule

g. Experience working at a power plant is preferred

h. Has a manufacturer certification for wind turbines will be a  plus

i. Minimum of senior/technical high school or trade qualification is preferred.

j. Minimum Experience 2 years in the Electrical, instrument & mechanical area.

k. Deep knowledge of the practical application of electrical, instrument & mechanical equipment & safety legal requirements.

l. Preferably any level of education who graduates from the plant apprentice program

m. GWO certified (GWO BTT/BST/BR) is preferred.
