J Resources is an Indonesian owned, intermediate gold producer, as measured by global output. We produce ~200,000oz per annum, derived mainly from our operating Indonesian assets. We operate, mine and understand low grade-gold deposits and heap leach systems.

As a result of the rapid expansion, we are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following role for our project located in Doup, North Sulawesi :

1. Field Engineer – Civil & Structure

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To create all temporary and permanent works design and to ensure compliance with relevant engineering requirements along with technical and commercial contractual obligations.

• To ensure the quality of the works including procurement of material (permanent and temporary works) in a timely manner in order to ensure construction continues as scheduled.

• To execute civil engineering activities and the work of design in order to ensure construction works are carried out as per program within safety and quality guidelines.

• To implement project designs, schedules, cost, results and recommended improvements are effectively to end-users with the support of project management.

• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor’s in Civil / Structural Engineering for Construction or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road, or civil projects (5-8 years).

• Familiarity with document control / management systems.

• Proficient in MS Office Applications is a must and knowledge in using document control software is advantageous.

• Experience in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive materials and deadlines.

• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

• Ability to prepare simple earthwork/material movement, civil and structural calculation.

• Agree to be placed on site (site base)

2. Field Engineer – Mechanical & Piping

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To create all Mechanical and Piping design and to ensure compliance with relevant engineering requirements along with technical and commercial contractual obligations.

• To ensure the quality of the works including procurement of Mechanical & Piping material in a timely manner to ensure construction continues as scheduled.

• To execute Mechanical & Piping engineering activities and the work of design in order to ensure Mechanical & Piping installation are carried out as per program within safety and quality guidelines.

• To ensure using all the Mechanical & Piping drawing is the latest version in order to ensure Mechanical & Piping installation are carried out as per program and in timely manner.

• To implement project designs, schedules, cost, results and recommended improvements effectively to end-users with the support of project management.

• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction of industrial/mining mechanical & piping projects (5-8 years).

• Have extensive experience in Mechanical & Piping installation works.

• Have QA/QC training and experience

• In depth understanding of construction methodology covering building, mechanical & piping.

• Ability to prepare simple mechanical & piping calculation

• Agree to be placed on site (site base)

3. Supervisor – Earthwork

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To supervise project areas within approved budgets against agreed schedules and delivers in accordance with technical specifications.

• To control and monitor work instruction progress in consultation with Civil Superintendent, Supervisors and Project Engineers.

• To supervise the survey team for approval of final well coordinates prior to start of site activities.

• To plan & allocate site earthwork crews as per drilling priorities for well pad location & construction.

• To ensure a quality installed scope of work which meets project specifications and procedures for all earth works including interface coordination with Electrical, Instrument, Mechanical and Drilling Groups as applicable.

• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in civil, earthworks, road construction, or maintenance projects (5-8 years).

• Have extensive experience in soil stabilization, mass excavation of basements and footings, excavation of ponds and channels, new parking lot grading and clearing.

• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

• Ability to manage and arrange earthwork equipment and material movement.

• Agree to be placed on site (site base)

4. Supervisor – Structural/Platework

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To lead the installation teams at construction sites to plan and execute works according to the project schedule.

• To plan the manpower deployment, require for the site works.

• To ensure that construction projects are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget.

• To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials, and consumables for our construction projects at construction sites.

• To oversee the works and resolve any technical issues/ difficulties that may arise on constructions sites.

• To report to project team on work progress at construction sites.

• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in structural engineering, fabrication/platework projects (5-8 years).

• Have extensive experience in developing schematics for structures in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.

• Project development and leadership skills are essential.

• Have experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture.

• Advanced understanding of build materials, techniques and processes.

• Ability to check and inspect the quality of welding (preferred with welding inspection certificate.

5.  Planner/Scheduler

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.

• To developing, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system.

• To coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.

• To monitor project timelines and deadlines. Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.

• To evaluate performance and preparing project progress reports.

• Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules. Recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.

• Prepare the main timeframe and manage the interface to the contractors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil / Project Management or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in civil, earthworks, road construction, or maintenance projects (8-10 years).

• Have extensive experience in in schedule planning and management.

• Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such as MS Projects or Oracle Primavera.

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.

• Site and/or Jakarta based

6. Senior Contract Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To reviewing, negotiate, and drafting contracts.

• To provide support to attorneys in drafting legal documents such as summonses and complaints.   

• To coordinate with other departments such as accounting and human resources to ensure all contract details are finalized and implemented.   

• To review and analyze contracts to ensure they comply with relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, environmental laws, and antitrust laws.

• To negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, or other parties involved in business transactions on behalf of the organization.

• To prepare and review purchase orders, change orders, and other documents related to contract work.

• To communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, delays in work, and other issues that may arise during the course of a contract.

• To preparing reports summarizing contract activity, including billable hours worked and payments made to vendors.

• Manage the additional works, change orders, delay and penalties to be inline and comply with the contract.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum bachelor’s degree of all majoring with related experiences.

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology.

• Deep understanding of contract business model and its purpose, contractual language and terms, and contract lifecycle.

• Critical thinking skills, ability to research and understand on legal and financial implications.

• Identifying and resolving contract risks and issues.

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in mining industry and related field are required.

• Good understanding with international standard contract such as FIDIC, etc.

7. Surveyor - Quantity

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To prepare of various Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates.

• To prepare tender report and support the tender process.

• To prepare and monitor of the execution of contract and contractual correspondences as well as contractor’s valuation.

• To ensure the cost evaluation/projection preparation to meet the requirements of works in progress and to review monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims from contractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment of costs of works and expected final cost.

• To direct the regulation and review the accuracy and relevancy of subcontractors’ applications for payment, variation submission and pursuit of claims and advise requirement of contract and to review the variation orders report.

• To provide assistance on contractual issues, in preparing and approving contractor’s final accounts and finalize the account of project

• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters to comply with statutory requirements and EHS expectation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil / mechanical, electrical engineering, construction, or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience at performing quantity survey in construction, road, or civil projects (5-8 years).

• Have experience in leading a surveyor team (working at civil contractor is preferred).

• Advance skills on Civil/Construction cost planning, cost estimating and analysis.

• Advance knowledge of Construction quantity surveying and construction operations.

8. Senior Engineer – Cost Control

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To control and monitor project cost data base in corporate with WBS code and prepare project control report regularly.

• Be responsible for maintaining and updating project cost data base.

• To prepare, control & monitor project planning master schedule, combined with detail schedule from contractor to achieve project target and goals.

• To act as an interface to the third parties (consultant/contractor) on behalf of the owner to compile project schedule and cost control report.

• To prepare proper regular cost report to Project Director/project manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil / mechanical, electrical engineering, construction or related disciplines.

• Have extensive experience on similar role in construction, road, or civil projects (8-10 years).

• Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.

• Strong knowledge in the use of MS Project, Primavera Project Planner.

• Certified in cost control professional.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.

• Ability to work as part of a team and on-own initiative.
