We are now looking for Mechanical Supervisor to join our site in Hera, Timor Leste. The position is a permanent opportunity.

What will you be doing:

As Mechanical Supervisor, your work will focus on these accountabilities:

• Coordinate and report daily mechanical maintenance activities at the plant and/or assigned team.

• Coordinate activities of mechanical maintenance of Wartsila 18V46 such as fuel oil system, lube oil system, starting and instrument air system, charge air and exhaust gas system and cooling water system.

• Coordinate activities of mechanical maintenance all auxiliary equipment such as lube oil separator Alfa Laval, Exhaust gas boiler, Auxiliary boiler, water treatment unit, oily water treatment, fuel oil separator Alfa Laval, firefighting system.

• Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.

• Train maintenance procedures and standards for the new workers.

• Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools and ensure those are maintained according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.

• Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.

• Inspect completed work to ensure that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards and report all maintenance activities via MAXIMO.

• Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment problems.

• Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant.

• Prioritize and assign tasks so that assigned team resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Have experience leading team minimum 3 years

• Have minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations & Maintenance Power Plants

• Have a diploma in engineering or Bachelor degree

• Willing to be stationed in Hera, Timor Leste
