We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

Engineer Drill & Blast (927696)

(Wahana)

In this role, you will:

- Provide drill & blast planning service which guides the mining operation towards the long term & profitability

- Provide daily, weekly and monthly planning to support production target in most cost effective way in safety manner

- Provide daily and monthly report for drill and blast actual production including but not limited to total drill depth, total blasted volume, explosive usage, drill and blast cost

- Control drill and blast activities to avoid any operational issues, e.g. hard digging case, coal losses, mining delay, standby equipment, and blasting permit

What skills and experience do you need?

- Applicants should have a minimum Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering with 5 years’ experience in similar role as engineer drill & blast; hold certificate Blaster Class II;

- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and proficient in computer literacy; strong leadership; self-motivated; team player; supportive; innovative, problem solving, think strategically; communicative; and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits

- Proven skills in utilizing Drill and Blast software such as Minescape , Vulcan, Shotplus, Viewshot, etc

Engineer Geotechnical (927695)

(Wahana)

In this role, you will:

- Check coal modeling, coal actual characteristic, and geotechnical issue of working area and recommend the corrective action to support project’s target.

- Perform inspection of all geotechnical high risk area

- Produce weekly and monthly production review for coal in particular

- Collaboratively to produce the geotechnical assessment and distribute the geotechnical report

- Perform TSE and other Thiess Procedure for geotechnical are implemented

- Provide reserve calculation with using mining software

- Report coal density, coal dip, weak plane by using weight scale, compass, and etc

What skills and experience do you need?

- Applicants should have a minimum graduated from Bachelor Degree from Mining Engineer or Geology ; requires a minimum 3-5 years' professional experience in similar role as Geologist & Geotechnical Engineer in Mining Company;

- Strong Communications skills

- Have sufficient knowledge in mining software ie: Minescape

- IT Literacy: Word, Excel, Internet

Specialist OHS (927441)

(Melak)

In this role, you will:

- Provide safety technical and system support for the Mining & Plant team

- Implement TCI safety Management System, processes and programs to ensure the conversation of people, property, environment and profits

- Establish risk assessment processes and ensure Risk Register is current, and socialized to staff

- Provide assistance and close out audit outcomes

- Develop and implement Safety Audit program for subcontractors

- Conduct regular audits of implementation of TCI SBO program

- Facilitate the investigations of significant incidents (class I and II) to ensure investigations outcomes comply with procedure

- Review all investigation reports to ensure integrity of findings

- Ensure all incident data is entered onto Synergy and that incident action are closed out within the frame and Synergy data is accurate and up to date

- Ensure Hazard report data is entered onto Synergy and that incident actions are closed out within time frame

- Ensure all project Provide Information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of hazardous or potential hazardous work environments

- Collect statistics and understand what that information means, and assist the Project Coordinator Safety in reporting safety statistics

- Facilitate employee injury management and rehabilitation plans where required

- Monitor and implement project/ client specific program to ensure the conversation of people, property, environment and profits

What skills and experience do you need?

- Bachelor/Diploma Degree in mining OHS and/or Environmental

- Minimum 3 years in Mining Industries in same position

- Demonstrate your understanding on OHS Management and environment management system

- Good knowledge in related to HSEQ theory and practical, familiar with and have good understanding on OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001-2018 Implementation SMKP, Auditor SMKP and ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2007

- Proficient in computer literacy, English Language, Government regulation relates Health & Safety and their implementation

- Computer literate

Engineer Plant (927676)

(Balikpapan)

In this role you will:

- Manage the establishment/refinement of standard data capture process’s, analysis there-off, standard reporting capabilities and the implementation of a TCI best practice module across the business unit

- Contribute to ensure that the reliability of the TCI fleet can be improved

- Monitor and manage continuous improvement program and mining innovation program monitor and manage product problem meeting across whole site

- Monitor and manage site statutory inspection compliance

About you

- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-year related experience as Mechanical Engineer in mining industry (preferable)

- High proficiency in Excel

- Good communication in English (written and verbal)

EOI Officer Plant Technical Service (927674)

(Jakarta)

In this role, you will:

- Generate weekly and monthly Plant Performance report for Thiess Australia, USA, & Chile Mining

- Generate monthly Asset Operations Report for all Australia & Chile Mine sites.

- Complete the defect and close defect report management in daily basis and support all Australia, USA, & Chile Mine Sites in weekend overtime

- SMU Entry & Upload for Australian Mining sites in weekend overtime.

- Process Job Package Sheet (JPS) and create Work Order (WO) in JDE

- Generate Asset Management Report for whole Thiess Operation

- Support to update planned life & PM Strategy Information required for Australia, Chile and USA Mine Site

- Develop automation tools to increase working efficiency

- Support ad hoc task as required by manager.

What skills and experience do you need?

- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or equivalent in asset management officer is preferred

- 2 year of experience working with Plant Department

- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa, written and verbal

- Computer literate to programming level

- Fundamental understanding of safety and environmental issues and developments particularly involving tyres, and Plant system

- Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
