SUPERINTENDENT - QC INSPECTOR & EXPEDITOR – ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION  (EPC-SMT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Ensure the quality of copper smelter equipment at Various LSTK Contractor’s vendor/equipment manufacturer’s location and their sub-vendor location and quality of equipment, Facilities during erection and commissioning at site.

• Visit the equipment manufacture facility on regular interval of time as per equipment manufacturing schedule. Follow up the Manufacturing status and push the whole process to catch up with the schedule.

• Perform the joint inspection with manufacturer, TPI To Monitor and ensure the quality of equipment and project material.

• To perform dimensional measurement and inspection on in-process and final finished machined components.

• To conduct vendor document review on incoming inspection when required.

• To liaise and coordinate with TPI/Customer Representatives during project execution stage.

• Verifying traceability on work orders in the Test & Assembly process.

• Coordination with site construction and quality control team for quality inspection scheduling.

• Confirm supplier’s & Contractor’s understanding of all deliverables and that the supplier’s submission or delivery requirements match the project/operation & Quality expectations.

• Identifies and evaluates Quality-related incidents / problems / non-conformances and initiates, recommends, and provides effective solutions where necessary.

• Review all ITP, QAP, inspection reports for compliance, with reference to applicable industry codes and site standards/procedures.

• Evaluate the supplier’s and contractor’s plans and ability to meet the schedule.

• Attend regular project meeting and report the quality and production process to the project manager.

• Deal with the relevant documentation such as review the, ITP, QAP, inspection report /summary of the production progress.

• To ensuring quality in all purchased goods, ensuring quality of all equipment and facilities during erection and commissioning at site. 

• To perform dimensional measurement and inspection on in-process and final finished machined components.

• To perform vendor good receiving, raw materials verification, inspection at the time of erection and commission as per approved ITP, FAT and installation inspection plan.

• General visual inspection at all part of the construction. Analysis design calculation and analysis of construction drawing, analysis procedure for code Compliance, review report and qualification report.

• Visual and test run Inspection of all electrical goods, cable tray & support installation, Installation Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator, Switchgear etc

• Test grounding rod resistance measurement, continuity & resistance test

• cable, Tightening bolt for busbar panel, etc.

•  Factory Acceptance Test: Transformer, Switchgear, Emergency Diesel Generator, HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning) control panel,

• To perform Pre commissioning & commissioning inspection checks: UPS, HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning) control panel, Switchgear / Motor Control Centre (MCC), Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator PAU Metering.

• To Perform Pre commissioning & commissioning inspection: Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator, Lighting etc.

• To perform factory acceptance test of electrical goods: Transformer, Motor Control Centre, Switchgear, Electrical panel, measuring and control panel and equipment sets.

What skills and experience do you need?

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Power electrical /Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution;

• Have minimum 15 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Inspector & Expeditor – Electrical & Instrumentation,  and minimum 4 years in site based with demonstrated project management - having worked with national/ global Engineering companies for Copper /Nickel/ Zinc projects in an EPC/EPCM mode;

• Minimum of 10 to 15 years in Quality control inspection of large capacity plant electrical and instrumentation equipment i.e. Motor, Transformer, VFC, Switch gear, Measuring and control panel, MCC, MCC panel , Electrical cable etc.  in inspection corp. and 3rd party inspection agency.

• Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognized institution. (For example, CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI) Level I or Level II Radiographic Film Interpretation; Non-destructive Testing such as MT, PT, UT, and VT will be an asset; Familiar in Electrical safety.

• A working knowledge of Construction / Structural / Inspection codes and practices such as IEC etc.

• Have substantial experience in the Domestic, light industrial construction industry and in particular facility maintenance; Must have Project infrastructure knowledge on building (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping / Plumbing, Welding; Ability to read & analyze Architectural/MEP/Structural drawings is required;

• Familiar with Project management plan & system in Mining Infrastructure activity; have working knowledge in Civil & Structural/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Piping and Plumbing/ Welding Infrastructure principles, design concepts & operations, and awareness of operation regulatory; familiar with application of ISO 9001; has experience as Internal Auditor; be able to provide reporting;

• Earlier experience to manage/ Supervise EPC contracts with Chinese contractors will be an added advantage;

• Expertise in process technology, engineering, operations, maintenance and past credentials to cost effectively manage plants is a  pre requisite for this position;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft project or other industry software such as AutoCAD, CATS; Have an understanding of construction regulations, industry codes and standard, workplace health & safety regulation, quality assurance, construction cost and processes; General knowledge of site man hour productivity rates and equipment utilization;

• Experienced in reading engineering drawings and the planning of engineering and construction schedules; Able to read and understand technical documentation and to make an expert evaluation thereof.

• Experienced in planning and executing project and construction activities; Hands-on experience of managing QC and HSE activities on site.

• Experience in PLC/DCS and or Instrumentation systems in the mining/concentrating industry (include: installation, logic development, programming, calibration, and record keeping), or in a specialty area are necessary;

• Have Middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

• Excellent in communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate.

SUPERINTENDENT - QC INSPECTOR & EXPEDITOR - CIVIL & STRUCTURAL (EPC-SMT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Manage all facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance so as to maximize productivities in the most cost effective manner and to achieve business target while ensuring that a safe professional  is maintained;

• Act as QA&QC management representative and provide support on technical, administrative, and management activities for the project of management System application & management activities for tender preparation, execution of the project and workplace management system.

• Manage of reviewing and updating departmental procedures and policies, administers discipline, enforces company policy, and ensures compliance with state, federal, or other jurisdictional laws;

• Responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of operational efficiency;

• Manage for development, establish, implement and maintain Departmental policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within company and its Business Partners;

• Manage for development and maintain departmental plans that are pro-active in planning to ensure that the day-to-day operational needs are met while counterbalancing the strict Project and control requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards;

• Manage in develop and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach on Projects and control the facilities.

• Sets goals and coordinates the activities of the department reports in the field, workshop and various administrative office ensure consistent and quality scheduled Construction/ Maintenance and unscheduled Construction/ Maintenance are accomplished with minimal disruption to the operation;

• Manage and involve in development and enforce sound and practical standard operational and task procedures, which fit the global standards while ensuring a continually improving approach to a better delivery of support and operational services;

• Ensure that international-quality office and support facility infrastructure project construction and maintenance are available which meet the needs of the company workforce and its Business Partners;

• Study and review engineering designs, plant and equipment specifications and other technical documentation submitted by the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers and construction contractors, ensuring conformance to specifications and standards and to the Owner’s requirements.

• Develop and manage the engineering design schedule and the document and information exchange schedule between the project team, the Engineering Consultant, equipment suppliers, the construction team and construction contractors (internal and external project stakeholders).

• Manage and control the document and information exchange process between internal and external project stakeholders.

• Manage terminal points and software interfaces between internal and external project stakeholders.

• During construction, ensure that the correct documentation, drawings and other technical information are made available to the site teams.

• Investigate and solve technical issues relating to drawings and engineering that will come up during construction.

• Take overall responsibility for civil and structural steel construction on site.

• Manage the civil and structural steel construction and erection contractors.

• Develop the construction schedule with the support of internal and external project stakeholders.

• Coordinate contractor support required for construction, including scope and contract development and implementation.

• Plan and schedule resources (manpower, service providers, spares and consumables, tools and equipment) needed to carry out construction activities.

• Develop and execute the quality plan, quality testing and related QC activities and manage the implementation and execution of the quality plan.

• Submit necessary reports and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning project status and problems.

• Formulate safety procedures and contribute to safety improvement in workplace by considering risk factors during construction activities.

• Responsible for the safety of the people under his control and for maintaining good housekeeping.

• Ensure compliance to codes, regulations and standards.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree preferable from Civil engineering

• Have minimum 15 years’ experience in EPC / Construction industry preferable have exposure in Smelter Project for Mineral Processing Plant, which at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position as Superintendent QC Civil & Structural, and minimum 3 years in site based with demonstrated project management;

• A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to priorities activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.

• Experienced in reading engineering drawings and the planning of engineering and construction schedules.

• Able to read and understand technical documentation and to make an expert evaluation thereof.

• Experienced in planning and executing project and construction activities.

• Hands-on experience of managing QC and HSE activities on site.

• Good knowledge of engineering and construction codes and standards;

SENIOR ENGINEER ELECTRICAL (SMT)

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to prepare detailed MTO's (Material Take-Offs) and BOM's (Bills of Quantities);

• Prepare detailed cost estimates in accordance with the Project Management System and sound industry practice;

• Support projects in the start-up and execution phase as required; to provide technical direction for all engineering works from contract award through to commissioning phase; plan and control permanent material purchases; expediting procurement and logistics to ensure site crew have all the required materials, equipment, manpower and services on schedule; and, ensure that planning and programming of site activities and procurement is monitored to meet and achieve required milestones;

• Actively assist the estimating department to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes;

• Assist in design of PLC/DCS logic and graphical screen interfaces. Help develop standardized programming and calibration procedures.

• Develop and maintain a systematic recording system for tracking all PLC/DCS changes.

• Oversee new equipment installations which interface with a PLC or DCS control system.

• Quality all and any assumption made in preparation of the MTO/BOQ's for discussion with the Project Manager to ensure that appropriate allowances (contingencies) or clarifications are included on site;

• Check Data Sheets, Specification, scope of work for request, technical clarification, and technical evaluation of Vendor Equipment.

• Directly in-charge in the field inspection activities of all mechanical/electrical and its coordination to client and Company group and ensure that all mechanical/ electrical equipment in accordance with project specifications, standard practices, code and standards.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor degree preferable from Electrical engineering with minimum of 10 years’ experience with demonstrated project management  in Smelter/ Mill Expansion/ Power Plant Expansion/ EPC Industry, and minimum of 8 years experiences in supervisory level as Engineer Electrical  with minimum 3 years in site based.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft project or other industry software such as AutoCAD, CATS; Have an understanding of construction regulations, industry codes and standard, workplace health & safety regulation, quality assurance, construction cost and processes; General knowledge of site man hour productivity rates and equipment utilization;

• Experience in PLC/DCS and or Instrumentation systems in the mining/concentrating industry (include: installation, logic development, programming, calibration, and record keeping), or in a specialty area are necessary;

• Experience in control logic related to large grinding mills and process Plant;

• Have Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position;

SUPERINTENDENT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY

(National - Site Based)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to utilize strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to guide the staff Occupational Health & Safety  to achieve full compliance with all legal and other requirements.

• To manage side wide safety operations related issues for all project activities, to hold all employees accountable for high OHS standards, and promote a culture of OHS excellence.

• To manage company objectives and all applicable Government of Indonesia regulatory and permit obligations for OHS, with reporting, compliance, and other statutory requirements.

• To be accountable for the execution of plans/projects in each of these functions and responsible for the training and development of employees in OHS Department.

• To manage and find the solution all operational OHS issues and improves safety performance among organization of site project (including Business Partner).

• To act as a Manager OHS cover sitewide activity during Manager SHLP was not available on site.

• Audits compliance to company safety rules and policies, procedures and programs as well as Indonesian Government requirements.

• Assists Departmental Managers in the implementation/Supervision of Safety/Loss Control activities; Working closely with respective Manager in his area responsibilities to ensure all OHS applied properly.

• Support and work with all stakeholder in OHS Services in the implementation of emergency response procedures in his area of responsibilities.

• Support and work with internal team in the implementation of OHH programs in his area of responsibilities.

• Advises line management regarding safety rules, regulation, trends, statistics and compliance with rules and policies.

• Participate at the accident investigation, observations, safety Interactions, Inspections, Safety meetings to assure that program are working as intended.

• Prepares work schedule and weekly report.

• Ensures compliance with company Standard Task Procedures.

• Assist line supervisor to have observations/Safety Interactions for their positions.

• Provide required resources to achieve the compliance of mine operation safety laws and regulations.

• Analyses data from accident investigations, observations, inspections, and other sources to assure management that programs are working as intended. Proposes alternatives to programs that are not working as intended.

• Implements and maintains Emergency Response Plan Procedures.

• Conduct annual side wide risk register (IBPR) and follow up priority as appropriate

• Manage Site Wide Risk Register and evaluation of the implementation layer audit for Top 10 High Risk to each department involvement

• Responsible to the preparation material (C&P Monthly, MCS, SEE Quarterly Meeting, Board Directors Meeting), etc for management, government and corporate officials.

• Responsible to the preparation and submittal for accident/incident report to Mine Inspector, monthly report OHS information (internal and external), quarterly for DOME and annual reporting of the department’s activities.

• Assist Manager OHS to comply with all the OHS mandatory requirements for Company and business operations.

• Propose and manage section budget and spending as per company policies to achieve efficient operation.

• Monitor and control overhead charges, through interrogation of reports on a monthly basis.  Report on variance to the OHS Manager and identify improvement opportunities.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety qualifications or relevant qualifications with minimum 12 years of experience working in Mining industries; Post Graduate (Master Degree in OHS) is preferable;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in managerial role as Superintendent OHS Operations; had operational experience in Health, Safety or Loss Prevention or related field Smelter and or Mining Mineral Processing is preferable;

• Understand Mining and Smelter business process; Understand the mining and construction process involving at least 100 employees.

• Demonstrate HSE skill in mining, milling or heavy industry, engineering, project management, human resource management, training or training development with program implementation; Managed OHS Operational of Mining/ Smelter Processing activity minimum 7 years; Has Emergency Response Team Experience.

• The candidate should possess HSE System Trainings (Investigation, Risk Assessment or other HSE Trainings supported the system);

• Understand Loss Control Management philosophies; Have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard, Knowledge of Internal Audit, Knowledge of SMKP Internal Audit , and the implementations (SMKP, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISPS Port, Security Management System, OHSAS 18001, Safety Auditor, Risk Management process) and government safety regulation; understand about HSE standard on Mining activities; Familiar with Safety management at all levels.

• Have strong knowledge of Accident Incident Investigation Method, Work Permit Management System, Mining, Construction, Indonesia Regulation in DEMR.

• Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

• Registered Auditor for SMKP Minerba refer to KepDirjen 185/2019 in DEMR and has Experience as Lead Auditor in SMKP Minerba DEMR will be as added value;

SUPERINTENDENT PORT OPERATIONS (SMT)

Some of your duties will include:

• Responsible to ensure and control Marine’s, and Lay Down activities in compliance with SOP, respective company’s regulations, and government’s policies, in a safe, effective, and efficient operations

• To manage project operation at Cargo Jetty, Company Jetty, Public Jetties, Company Lay Down and public laydown in safe, effective, and efficient operations

• A safe operation of loading-unloading general cargo, containers and bulks material from vessel, placement of the cargos at the laydown or public port area and transporting to project site safely

• Provide direction and support to ensure of the process of lifting cargo process is safe and on time in line with SOP

• Manage training procedures of Lifting & Rigging for related employees

• Ensure Jetty Cargo, Company Jetty, and public Jetty are operated efficiently
