Under Indonesia’s private power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and maintains this 2 x 610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.

We currently have vacancy for the following:

BOILER ENGINEER (JUNIOR)

This position responsible to undertake the long-term and the short- term maintenance activities associated with the respective area.

Candidates for this position should possess following qualifications and competencies:

1. S-1 degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable university;

2. Proven minimum 3 years Maintenance / Engineering experience in Power Generation sector, Oil & Gas, and other Heavy Industry sector;

3. Having knowledge of Power Generation process;

4. Having strong knowledge of: Rotating equipment, Boiler & pressure vessel, Mill, ESP, etc;

5. Having knowledge of: Materials, welding, NDT, and Failure Root analysis;

6. Familiar with Maintenance Management System, E.g.: Maximo, will be preferable;

7. Good English proficiency both verbal and writing;

8. Having strong motivation, self starter, healthy, honest, smart and willing to take up responsibilities;

9. 32 years old maximum age.

Remuneration and benefits will be comparable with the best in this industrial sector.
