PT Lestari Banten Energi; Senior Electrical Technician

PT Lestari Banten Energi, a member of Genting Group, is an Independent Power Producer Company which owns and operates 1x625MWNet Coal Fired Super Critical Steam Power Plant in Salira – Banten. The plant achieved Commercial Date in March 2017 and is currently operating continuously to supply power to PLN Grid.

We are currently seeking for an Experienced Professional to join our Operation and Maintenance Team at the position of:

Job Title: Senior Electrical Technician

Department: ECI

Direct Report: Electrical Supervisor

Qualification :

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree (Diploma D-3) majoring in electrical engineering (High Voltage) from a reputable university. The D3/D4 major in Electrical Polytechnic is preferred.

2. Minimum three (3) years’ experience in electrical maintenance department in the field of thermal power plant or relevant industry.

3. Age no more than 35 years old.

4. Advance in Electrical Single Line Diagram, Installation Drawing, Control Drawing, Protection Drawing for troubleshooting.

5. Broad experience and proven maintenance skill of high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage electrical apparatus such as power transformer, generator, GCB, protection relay, switchgear, MV motors, battery system and UPS system, VFD.

6. Advance concept of HV/MV/LV electrical system in the power plant (Main transformer, generator, MCC, HV transmission and distribution, protection).

7. Advance knowledge on testing of electrical equipment using portable instrument/ tools.                                                           

8. Computer literate for basic MS-Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word), knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP) would be advantageous.

9. Have experience with electrical instrument testing (CB analyzer, relay secondary injector and etc.). 

10. Have the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to work in varying conditions.

Job Responsibilities :

Senior Technician in Turbine (MPH) & Balanced of Plant (BOP) Area – (1 Person):

1. To perform regular predictive, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance related electrical part in MPH (Steam Turbine Generator), Balanced of Plant (BOP) , Boiler and Aux – coal handling area (conveyor, stacker reclaimer, ship unloader) and reported to electrical Turbine BOP Supervisor and Boiler-CHP supervisor.

2. To identify defect part and repair, to communicate problem and underlying causes of defect identified to superior.

3. Monitoring and supervision of third-party contractor activities as regular (fire system and HVAC) and as required during outages and exceptional maintenance activities.
