PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) is a prominent mining company in Indonesia, specialising in the exploration and mining of precious metals such as gold and silver. The Company’s primary operating site is the Martabe Gold Mine in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, while our headquarters in Jakarta facilitates and manages the corporate functions of the Company.

The area of the Martabe Gold Mine is based on a sixth-generation 30-year Contract of Work with the Government of Indonesia. The total area is 130,252 hectares, or 1,303 km² covering South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli, and Mandailing Natal Regencies. The operational area of the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli Regency is 509 hectares as of January 2022.

As of 30 September 2023, our mineral resources amounted to of 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver. Production The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year.

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.

To strengthen the existing Operation TSF team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

ENGINEER – TSF (TSF 2401005)

This position will be located at the Martabe Site in the Operation TSF Department and will report directly to the Senior Engineer - TSF.

The Engineer - Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) plays a crucial role in overseeing the construction of the TSF to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards. This includes adherence to design profiles, technical specifications for material construction, AMD technical management, and prescribed testing frequencies. Additionally, the TSF Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper development of reporting for Instrumentation Monitoring and installation, and correlating this information with geotechnical software modeling.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.00, with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.

2. Preferably hold a Professional Engineer certificate from a reputable institution or be a member of a Civil Engineers Association, with certification in POP/POM.

3. Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in mining or civil works related to geotechnical engineering.

4. Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics, soil laboratory testing, and geotechnical instrumentation.

5. Have practical experience with geotechnical software, including Plaxis 2D and 3D.

6. Proficient in operating design software such as Surpac, 12D, and AutoCAD.

7. Desirable to have experience in Dam Construction.

8. Fluent in English and possessing a valid driver's license is preferred.

 

SENIOR SUPERVISOR – INTERNAL AUDIT AND RISK ASSURANCE (IARA 2401004)

This position will be located at the Jakarta Office in the Internal Audit and Risk Assurance (IARA) Department and will report directly to the Manager - IARA.

The Senior Supervisor - IARA conducts independence assurance activities based on stakeholder input, prioritizing them according to the relative significance and impact of identified risks. Additionally, the Senior Supervisor supports the Internal Audit Manager in ensuring departmental independence and advocates for best practices in good governance. The Senior Supervisor – IARA also assists the Manager in advising other departments on the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies related to Internal Audit findings and agreed-upon action plans. They play a key role in coordinating Internal Audit Staff for projects and the overall development of the internal audit function. Furthermore, the Senior Supervisor – IARA assists the Manager – IARA in monitoring the compliance of PTAR with key regulatory requirements as expected by the management. They also support the Manager – IARA in overseeing Business Insurance Activities conducted by Management and prepare reports for the Internal Audit corporate group, including PAMA, UT, and Astra International.

Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in mining, engineering, finance, accounting, or management from a reputable university; a Master's Degree in a relevant field is desirable.

2. Preferred operational experience in mining, processing, maintenance, or exploration.

3. Professional qualifications such as POP, POM, POU, CIA, CISA, CA, etc., will be favourably considered.

4. Hold a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant business experience; applicants with auditing experience and professional auditing backgrounds are favourably considered.

5. Demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk, and control processes and procedures.

6. Possess a general understanding of risk management frameworks and processes.

7. Desirable to have operational experience in the gold mining industry or a similar extractive industry, along with an understanding of auditing risk management processes.

8. Exhibit strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English, both oral and written.

9. Demonstrate robust planning, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to provide and communicate Internal Audit findings and reports, understand operational (mining, processing, maintenance, exploration) management frameworks, COSO Internal Control Framework, and ERM Framework. Additionally, understanding of insurance and financial risk management processes is preferred.
