PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) is a prominent mining company in Indonesia, specialising in the exploration and mining of precious metals such as gold and silver. The Company’s primary operating site is the Martabe Gold Mine in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra, while our headquarters in Jakarta facilitates and manages the corporate functions of the Company.

The area of the Martabe Gold Mine is based on a sixth-generation 30-year Contract of Work with the Government of Indonesia. The total area is 130,252 hectares, or 1,303 km² covering South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli, and Mandailing Natal Regencies. The operational area of the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli Regency is 509 hectares as of January 2022.

As of 30 September 2023, our mineral resources amounted to of 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver. Production The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is more than 7 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver per year..

PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% shares of PT Agincourt Resources. PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. with 60% share ownership and PT Pamapersada Nusantara with 40% share ownership, as well as part of PT Astra International Tbk business group. A total of 5% of PT Agincourt Resources' shares are owned by South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.

To strengthen the existing Processing (Maintenance) team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

SENIOR MECHANICAL FITTER – FIXED PLANT (PRO 2403012)

This position will be located at the Martabe Site in the Processing (Maintenance) Department with direct reporting lines to the Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance.

 

The Senior Mechanical Fitter is responsible for providing practical assistance to Mechanical Supervisors, ensuring that maintenance, modifications, servicing, and installation activities conducted by the Mechanical maintenance team adhere to professional standards and are executed safely, diligently, promptly, and cost-effectively. This includes prioritizing the needs of Process Plants and associated infrastructure's mechanical plant, equipment, and apparatus. Close collaboration with counterparts in Electrical/Instrumentation, Operations, and Metallurgical teams, as well as Maintenance Planning and Warehouse personnel, is essential for the optimal performance of this role.

 

Candidates applying for this position must meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Graduation from a Polytechnic/Technical training institute or completion of an approved Apprenticeship program with Mechanical Fitter qualifications.

2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Mechanical Fitter role within the mining, oil & gas, or similar heavy industrial sectors.

3. Proficiency and troubleshooting knowledge in fixed plant equipment maintenance, including crushers, belt/screw conveyors, apron feeders, vibrating screens, SAG/Ball/Vertical mills, pumps, hydraulic systems, and VPA filter presses.

4. A strong understanding of world-class and Indonesian mining standards, as well as associated safety standards (SMKP, ANZS, BS, IEC & ASTM).

5. Experience with Mechanical maintenance, problem-solving, and inspection processes.

6. Familiarity with Mechanical installation methods and practices.

7. Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards within the mineral processing industry.

8. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings.

9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

10. Capability to comprehend and execute written and oral instructions efficiently.
