PT Lestari Banten Energi, a member of Genting Group, is an Independent Power Producer Company which owns and operates 1x625MWNet Coal Fired Super Critical Steam Power Plant in Salira – Banten. The plant achieved Commercial Date in March 2017 and is currently operating continuously to supply power to PLN Grid.

We are currently seeking for an Experienced Professional to join our Operation and Maintenance Team at the position of:

Job Title: Chemist Staff

Department: Resource and Environment Management

Direct Report: Assistant Engineer Chemist

Qualification:

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree majoring in Chemistry

2. 2 (Two) years’ experience in Chemistry and lab, has exposure to Power Plant related will be advantage

3. Fresh graduates encourage to apply

4. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Job Responsibilities:

1. Performing sampling and analysis coal, water, and oil analysis

2. Implementing Good Laboratory Practices and ISO 17025 in Laboratory

3. Controlling and maintaining Coal Laboratory, Oil Laboratory, and Water Laboratory

4. Monitoring and collecting data of chemistry parameter related to WTP, WWTP, ECP, CPU, SWAS, and Hydrogen Station

5. Managing chemical stock and reagent in laboratory

6. Coordinating with WTP SPV and Chemical Engineer related problem solving based on analysis result

7. Familiar with TGA, Calorimeter, Sulfur Analyzer, pH Meter, Conductivity Meter, Karl Fischer, GC, IC, Microscope, & Spectrophotometer
