BCM Consulting and Research is a division of Petromindo, specializing in the Indonesian energy sector, including oil and gas, renewables, carbon markets, mining, metals, and power. Our division provides news, data, and research to help businesses navigate the complexities of these industries. With the division's continued growth, we are seeking a talented individual with a strong accounting background to analyze financial performance and support our expanding services.

Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial performance, developing research reports, and contributing valuable insights to our consulting services. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, diving into complex financial data, and translating those findings into actionable insights for the energy and mining sectors.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze the financial and stock performance of Indonesian energy and mining companies.

2. Produce detailed reports on assigned topics regularly.

3. Create clear, concise presentations (max 15 pages) based on research and analysis.

4. Conduct research and in-depth data analysis on energy and economic issues, with a focus on financial performance.

5. Gather and interpret financial data to support editorial content.

6. Develop technical analyses, including both qualitative and quantitative data, for internal and client-facing reports.

7. Monitor developments in the energy and mining sectors, particularly those impacting financial performance.

8. Attend focus group discussions, seminars, or coordination meetings to stay informed and gather data.

9. Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including clients, government bodies, and regulatory institutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Solid understanding of financial statements, stock performance, and company valuations.

• Ability to dissect complex financial problems and communicate findings effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create clear and compelling reports.

• Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure.

• Comfortable working in a research-focused role with limited direct interaction but strong individual contributions.

• Experience in or a passion for industrial research, especially in the energy or mining sectors.

Working Policy
Petromindo offers a hybrid working environment, where employees have the flexibility to work remotely. However, in-person attendance at critical events, seminars, and client meetings, particularly those in Jakarta, is highly encouraged. Face-to-face interactions help strengthen professional relationships and maintain trust, facilitating clearer and more personalized communication.

Salary Offer: IDR 6,900,000 - IDR 7,400,000 per month

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to deliver a brief presentation on a specified financial topic. This will allow us to assess your analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts. We will engage in a detailed discussion to evaluate your reasoning, problem-solving skills, and ability to defend your ideas under scrutiny.
