The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.
The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal.
As of June 2025, mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.4 million ounces of gold and 58 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.56 million ounces of gold and 31 million ounces of silver.

SENIOR SUPERVISOR – SECURITY HL OPERATION

This position is located at the Martabe Site within the Security Department and reports directly to the Superintendent – Security HL Operation.
The role of the Senior Supervisor – Security Hl Operation is :
• Supervise security operations in the Highland and Process Plant areas to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of company assets.
• Coordinate the deployment, scheduling, and performance of security personnel to ensure effective security coverage.
• Ensure compliance with PTAR security policies, procedures, HSE standards, and environmental requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while providing recommendations to improve site security.
• Conduct routine security and safety inspections and monitor security activities to maintain operational standards.
• Coordinate security escorts and support security operations across the site.
• Lead incident response activities, including coordinating investigations of security incidents and accidents.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance and competency of security personnel through coaching, training, and quality assessments.
• Manage, maintain, and ensure the operational readiness of security equipment and related resources.
• Prepare and submit regular security reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate security issues to management.
• Promote a safe working environment by reporting HSE and environmental incidents, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders, including government authorities, law enforcement agencies, and the military, to support security operations
Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or Diploma qualification.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience as a Security Supervisor, preferably in the mining industry.
3. Valid Gada Madya Security Certification.
4. Additional security-related certifications are an advantage.
5. Valid Class A Driving License (SIM A).
6. Experience in security operations, security management, and personnel supervision.
7. Strong knowledge of security risk assessment, risk management, and threat mitigation.
8. Experience in conducting security investigations and property loss investigations.
9. Familiarity with electronic security systems and surveillance technologies.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
11. Strong written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
13. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
14. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute operational activities effectively.
15. Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach, and develop security personnel.
16. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
17. Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
18. Demonstrates integrity, accountability, professionalism, and the courage to make sound decisions in high-risk situations.
