14 investors exploit coal potential in Jambi

Some 14 investors from outside Jambi have obtained license to explore and exploit the province's coal potential, according to local senior government official.

Head of the local office of the Ministry of Mines and Energy N. Rachman was quoted by Sriwijaya Post as saying that some of the investors have not yet started their operation although they've already obtained the license.

He said that one of the investors which would soon start trial coal production was PT Inti Primasakti.

He said that another investor called PT Sari Andira Persada had already started its production previously. (*)
