15 coal firms pass preliminary selection to supply 10,000 MW power plants

An industry source told Petromindo.Com on Friday that 15 coal mining companies have passed the pre-qualification process for the tender to supply coal to the proposed power plant projects with a combined capacity of 10,000 megawatt.

The companies are:
1. PT Triyani
2. PT Mantimin Coal Mining
3. Consortium of PT Maxima Infrastruktur and PT Anzawara Satria
4. Consortium of PT Padangbara Sukses Makmur and PT Bhumi Rantau Energi.
5. PT Tekno Orbit Persada
6. PT Perkasa Inakakerta
7. Consortium of PT Bayan Resources, PT Gunung Bayan Pratama Coal and PT Bara Tabang
8. PT Titan Mining Energi
9. Consortium of PT Kasih Industri Indonesia and PT Senamas Energindo Mulya
10. PT Indexim Coalindo
11. PT Jorong Barutama Greston
12. PT Surya Sakti Darma Kencana
13. PT Baramutiara Prima
14. PT Berau Coal
15. PT Arutmin.

The source added state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is expected to officially announce the pre-qualification selection result today (Friday). (godang)
