2010 subsidized fuel consumption likely exceeds target: BPH Migas

Downstream oil, gas regulator BPH Migas said Tuesday that realization of subsidized fuel consumption from January-July period of this year reached 21.91 million kiloliters (kl) or 60 percent of this year?s target of 36.5 million kl.

BPH Migas's head Tubagus Haryono said the 21.91 million kl fuels include 13.07 million kl of Premium gasoline, 1.45 million kl of kerosene and 7.38 million kl of high speed diesel (HSD).

?If there is no control of distribution and consumption of subsidized fuels during the rest of the year, the total consumption is likely surpass the 2010 government?s target,? he said. (godang)
