2013 second-half exploration drilling update

Upstream authority SKK Migas noted that there are 19 oil and gas production sharing contractors (PSCs) that are scheduled to carry out exploration drilling of 25 wells in the eastern part of Indonesia during the second semester of this year.
Head of Survey and Drilling Division at SKK Migas, Arief Fanshuri told Petromindo.com Tuesday that for coalbed methane (CBM) 15 PSCs will drill 58 exploration wells in the region during the same period.
Meanwhile, in the western part of Indonesia, 20 PSCs are scheduled to implement exploration drilling programs covering 33 wells in the second half of this year. And for CBM, there are 42 exploration wells to be drilled by 11 PSCs.
Elsewhere, SKK Migas also noted that there are 42 survey activities scheduled for the second semester by PSCs such as ENI, Chevron West Papua, CICo, INPEX, Niko, Petrochina, Pertamina, etc.
