$20b business deals signed during Jokowi?s US visit

The signing ceremony was held on Monday local time (Tuesday morning Indonesian time) at the US Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Jokowi came to the event after a meeting with President Barack Obama.
Jokowi and his entourage were welcome aby President of US Chamber Tom Donohue, President of US ASEAN Business Council Alex Feldman and President of UNISINDO Ambassador David Merril. The event was attended by 250 businesspeople and decision makers from the US and Indonesia, according the statement.
The energy-related business deals signed during the event are as follows:
1. The LNG Sales and Purchasing Agreement between state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) and Corpus Christie Liquefaction worth $13 billion. The gas will be delivered to FSRU Lampung to meet the gas needs in eastern Indonesia and to an LNG terminal to be built in eastern Indonesia.
2. The investment agreement between PT Saka Energy Indonesia and Swift Energy to invest a total of $175 million to develop shale gas at Eagle Ford acreage in Webb County owned by Swift Energy.
3. Business agreement worth $100 million between state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and General Electric for the development of 100 MW gas turbine for a power plant in Gorontalo
4. Cooperation agreement worth $30 million between Indonesia?s Udayana University and Skychaser Energy on water conservation and power consumption reduction.
5. Agreement worth $850 million between PLN and UPC Renewables to build a 350 MW wind power plant over a period of three years (2015-2018).
6. Agreement between Cikarang Listrindo and General Electric for a total investment of $600 million to expand the latter?s IPP power plant.
7. Agreement worth $400 million between PT Indonesia Power andGeneral Electric on the development of a 700 MW power plant in Central Java
8. Agreement worth $525 million between PT PLN Batam (Persero) and General Electricity on the development of a 500 MW mobile power plant in Mataram, Bangka, Tanjung Jabung, Pontianak, Lampung an Sei Rotan.
9. Agreement worth $500 million between PLN and Caterpillar for a 2 GW hybrid power plant prjoect, solar PV+energy storage project for microgrids in remote islands (500 islands) with initial capital investment through power purchasing agreement with PLN as payment solution.
10. Agreement worth $800 million between Pertamina and Bechtel Corporation on refinery development and expansion over a duration of five years.
11. Agreement worth between $5 and 10 million between Kilat Wahana Jenggala and Hubbell Power Systems to expand the former?s existing plant that produces/assembles polymer transmission insulators for power distribution and transmission localization.
