$3.1 billion gas deals signed

Seven gas sales deals with total value of more than US$3 billion were signed in Jakarta on Monday.

Under the deal, contactors will supply some 687 TBTU of gas to domestic users.

The deals are:

1.HoA between Premier Oil Natuna Sea BV with PT Universal Batam Energy (UBE) to supply 101.64 TBTU of gas from Natuna Sea Block A to fuel UBE?s power plant in Batam.

2. HoA between Premier Oil Natuna Sea BV with PT PLN Batam to supply 149.30 of gas to power PLN?s Batam power plant.

3. Gas Sales Agreement between East Kalimantan gas producers Total, Vico, Chevron, ENI with PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri (KDM) to supply 39.8TBTU of gas to fuel KDM?s power plant.

4. Gas Sales Agreement between PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Golden Spike Energy Indonesia with PT.Pertagas to supply 3.7TBTU to PT Pertagas.

5. GSA Amandement between PT Pertamina (Persero) with Kilang Methanol Bunyu (KMB) to supply 5.67TBTU of gas to KMB.

6.GSA between East Kalimantan gas producers Total, Vico, Chevron, Eni with PT Pupuk Kaltim III, to supply 164.7 TBTU of gas to PKT III.

7. GSA between Medco E&P Malaka with PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) to supply 223 TBTU of gas from Aceh Block A Block to PIM?s fertilizer plant. (Bernard)
