Upstream authority SKK Migas said there will be three planned shutdown until next August.

SKK Migas Chairman Rudi Rubiandini said that Total E&P Indonesie will in the next few weeks shut down part of its operation at the Mahakam block for about a week, which will result in a production decline of about 20,000 bpd in condensate.

At the end of April or early May, one train at the Tangguh project will shut down for maintenance, expected to cause production decline of some 9,000 bopd.

The third shutdown will be carried out by PHE ONWJ for about two months starting in August.

However, Rudi remains upbeat about meeting national oil production average of 840,000 bpd.

Rudi claimed also that so far this year, unplanned shutdown has caused 10,000 bpd in production loss, the lowest in history
