3 surviving bidders for Cirebon coal-fired power plant

Consortium which consists of Bakrie Power, Indonesia Power and Babcok had failed to pass through Cirebon 600-MW coal-fired power plant IPP tender, leaving three bidders compete to win the project, a PLN official said as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia.
PLN?s spokesperson Muljo Adji said the consortium failed for administrative reasons, but he did not elaborate further.
The surviving bidders are a consortium which consists of Japan?s Marubeni Corp, local engineering firm Tripatra and South Korea?s Sam Tan Corp.; Malaysia?s YTL Group and India?s Essar Group.
PLN is set to announce the winner for the Cirebon power plant this month. (*)
