34 family members of Inco?s workers leave S. Sulawesi

As many as 34 foreigners who were family members of workers at publicly listed nickel producer PT International Nickel Indonesia (Inco) left Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi, for Singapore on Tuesday for fears of deteriorating security in Indonesia in the wake of the Bali bombing, according to Kompas daily.
PT Inco?s executive Ruslan Muhadi said his company currently employed a total of 28 foreigners for its Sorako operations. They excluded foreigners from Inco?s contractors.
Inco is a subsidiary of Canada?s Inco Limited.
More than 180 people were killed and some 300 people were injured in bomb blasts in Bali on Oct 12, which was thought to be planned by a terrorist network. Many of them were foreign visitors. (*)
