35 foreign investors to invest $2 billion in C. Kalimantan

As many as 35 foreign investors will soon invest a total of $2 billion money in various natural resources projects in Central Kalimantan.
The head of the Central Kalimantan's Investment Coordinating Board, J.J. Koetin, said in Palangkaraya on Monday that most of the 35 investors would invest in the mining sector in five districts.
Koetin also revealed that a number of domestic investors had also been committed to investing up to Rp 10 trillion in Central Kalimantan to finance 172 projects, mostly in the forestry and plantations sectors spreading in five districts.
He said to attract more investment, the Central Kalimantan administration decided to give a one-stop service for investors and prospective investors interested in investment in the area. (*)
