5 more firms to conduct geothermal survey

Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik handed out Wednesday appointment letter to five companies to carry out preliminary survey on geothermal.
The five companies are:
1. PT MRI Energy for survey area in Wilis mountain, East Java
2. PT EDC Indonesia for Graho Nyabu area, Jambi-Bengkulu
3. PT Tri Ariesta Dinamika for Pentadio area, Gorontalo
4. PT Star Energi Geothermal Indonesia for area in Hamiding mountain, North Maluku
5. PT Jaya Daya Chevron for areas in Geureudong mountain, Aceh.
The letter was handed out during the opening of Indonesia International Geothermal Convention and Exhibition 2013 in Jakarta, which was also attended by Vice President Boediono.
