53 exploration wells has been drilled so far

Upstream authority SKK Migas said on Monday that production sharing contractors (PSC) holders had drilled 53 exploration wells and 598 development wells until last week.
Head of Exploration Division Arief Fanzuri told petromindo.com that till the end of this August two more exploration wells be drilled at blocks operated by Medco Energi Internasional and Ogan Ilir Gas.
"There will be also another 65 development wells to be drilled (until the end of August) at blocks operated by CPI, PEP, BOB BSP, Energy Equity Sengkang, JOB Pertamina-Medco Tomori, Vico, Total, PetroChina Jabung, PHE WMO, and PHE ONWJ," added Arief.
According to plans by PSC holders, there will be a total of 258 exploration wells and 1,178 development wells to be drilled this year.
