7 coal miners bid to supply Tanjung Jati B

State electricity firm PLN said on Tuesday that seven coal mining firms have been registered as bidders for medium CV coal supply re-tender for Tanjung Jati B 2x660-MW power plant in Central Java.
A company official told Petromindo.Com that included in the seven bidders are East Kalimantan coal miners PT.Kaltim Prima Coal, PT. Indominco Mandiri, PT.Anugerah Bara Kaltim and PT.Jembayan Muara Bara.
The official said the tender committee is now in the process of selecting winner.
Winner will supply 1 million tonnes of coal per year under five-year contract with first shipment expected May or June this year, the official said.(denny)
