76 barrels of crude spilled in Riau: SK Migas

SK Migas has reported a failed crude oil theft attempt on the Bangko-Dumai pipe lane in Riau, which has left 76 barrels of crude spilled in the area.
The failed illegal tapping took place on December 10, said Hadi Prasetyo, Head of PR, Security and Formality Division at SK Migas.
The damaged section of the pipe lane was repaired right away and oil flows returned to normal on Tuesday. The cleaning works are still being carried out by PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia and surrounding communities.
