A consortium named winner to build 2x50MW PLTG Tanjung Batu

State owned utility firm PT PLN announced a consortium led by state construction firm PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) has won the tender to build a 2x50 MW gas-fired power plant in East Kalimantan.
PLN Director of Construction Nasri Sebayang revealed the tender winner to petromindo.com Thursday.
According to the company?s financial report, the contract to build the PLTG Tanjung Batu is worth Rp925 billion,
WIKA controls 63 percent share in the consortium with another member, PT Mega Eltra, holding the rest.
The plant is targeted to commence operation by the end of 2013.
