ABK gets supply contracts from Tai Power, KOSEP

East Kalimantan miner PT.Anugerah Bara Kaltim said on Tuesday it has bagged spot contract 70,000 tonnes from Taiwan Power Company (Tai Power).

 

Company’s General Manager Martusin Yapriadi told Petromindo.Com that the contract would be for December 2007 delivery.

 

Martusin also said that ABK has secured agreement with South Korean power firm Korea South-East Power (KOSEP) to renew contract to supply 720,000 tonnes of coal for 2008. Martusin said that for 2007, ABK has shipped 6 panamaxes of coal to KOSEP, or about half of the annual contractual volume.

 

ABK had signed long-term supply contract with KOSEP since 2001, to be renewed annually. (denny)
